Something else on the new Negima chapter: where Chao and future Eva were joking around, saying something about how maybe future Negi was such a badass because he lost Asuna, and bringing her back with them was a mistake. I can't help but hope that was supposed to be some subtle commentary from Ken on how he really did want to get Asuna out of the picture but wasn't allowed to, but sadly I know that's not the case.

One can only dream.

I wish that was the case. Seriously, the whole series was better in the 50+ chapters she had no active role in. By that I mean, by comparison of right before and after. Then it just..

I am a Hero vol. 5

Well, damn. They should know by now that it's always a bad idea to go into crowded areas in these situations.

This pretty much sums up the last few chapters of the volume:

I am a Hero vol. 5
I can't believe the author spent 4 chapters on this 2ch shit.

Cage of Eden 143

Also what was the deal with the reveal of Sengoku's mother in his dream?
I'm taking it like, dude went through every important person to him, but in the end it's his mom that woke him up. I can get that.

Darkness ch2

yo momo i know you just made this harem plan and all and imma let you finish but yami really isn't worth all this trouble

I quit reading Gantz because its a pile of dung...picked up Vagabond.

I feel better already.

I actually liked King of Hell (manhwa) and I wish I could keep reading it. Finding it in English to even buy has become a problem though...

It'll probably turn out that Negi was just too shy to tell her so he said a really random name.
Geromatsu

Not in this harem, everyone and everything will be sucked into it.

Having a loli murder machine around could save your life.

Just imagine the kind of things you could do with transforming hair.

Imagine.

I get the upside to this whole thing but ever since she faked the boobs it just wasn't the same, y'know?

good call on the hair though
no wait i'm not supposed to say that

I won't be able to look at Wiseblade anymore after this, dammit

Muhyo to Rouji vol 11

I think Umekichi just became my favorite character. There was a legit strategy here going on with the centrifugal force and the cannon. Definitely the best battle in the series so far.

It's not the site itself that is the problem so much as the content.

Oh well, gelbooru is down right now. Maybe some other time.

Negima

Wait, there's a chance for a non-Asuna ending, seriously? That'd be pretty bizarre...

Apart from that, oh Akamatsu, I didn't expect anything less. :lol

Harisugawa 29 (Epilogue)

Comedy chapter at the beach to finish things off. It's generic but amusing. It's kind of too bad the series didn't continue, though like this certainly none of the main plot -- the mirror -- shows up; it's just generic harem/romance comedy stuff, with the main cast and the pervert guy trying to take pictures of girls.

I do think this series ended a bit too soon, though... and a better ending would have been nice. "She didn't reject his confession after he confessed, but hasn't said yes either" is the status at the end. Sigh.

I know, ch. 28 had the confession, and was a good chapter too. But as this final chapter shows, it ends with them still not entirely together. "They will be someday but Saki still has feelings for him that she's forgotten" is a somewhat weak ending.

Yamada and the Seven Witches 1

Decent start, but I also do wonder about resolving that situation in chapter one... I wonder if there'll be more of this in the future, or if the girl's one of the titular seven witches and the rest of them will appear each with various powers, etc. Something like that seems somewhat likely anyway. But yeah, on its own it was a good chapter.

Watching Fairy Tail anime so I can add it to my list of weekly to read shounen and I gotta say, Natsu is probably the worst thing about it.

He has the most obnoxious shounen traits in him. From the loud shouting, aura shitting, never gonna give you up, bullshit power up/save at the last minute and the list goes on and on.

I mean, I can ignore Lucy and her annoying jokes but I can't ignore the main character because HE IS ALWAYS THERE FIGHTING THE MAIN VILLAIN IN EVERY ARC JUST BECAUSE.

Yeah, this is an issue that I've mentioned before, and definitely annoys me too. There's no reason at all, really, that after about arc 3 Natsu is always the one who gets to fight, and defeat, the final boss of each arc. He wasn't in that role before about arc 4 or so, but since then he's had that spot every single time, and rarely with a really good story reason; "he's the MC so he gets that place" is about it, and that's not enough.

Yamada and the Seven Witches 1

This is the next manga by the author of Yankee and Megane. I enjoyed the first chapter, but I think it was a bad idea to resolve everything in just one chapter, I wonder what the catch will be for the next one.

We'll have to see where it goes indeed.

Finished Ciguatera and the ending is not as bad as I've expected,
I was thinking of something really wrong and maybe supernatural happening. Or maybe someone bombs his town and everyone dies or she is killed, who knows.
Anyway, this is where it gets sad: If the ending was so bizarre I'd just disqualify it and think of the series as unfinished or something like that. But the way it ended... it's just how life goes I guess, so even if I dislike it and makes me sad, I have to accept as a decent ending :(

Nevertheless it's a really good series. As I said before I'm more interested in the in-between, so bad endings don't really gets me mad. But I do wish I hadn't shown this to my GF before the ending.

The Vovnich Hotel is kinda interesting~

I want more. :)

Wow that was much better than I was expecting. I am loving the setting, the characters and the surprisingly dark tone. To be honest I rarely actually find it funny, but it still oozes charm and all that weird shit that is building up behind the scenes has me intrigued.

I wouldn't call the ending bad. From an artistic standpoint it was pretty good. Every single chapter was pretty much just a lead up to it. Of course none of that changes the fact that it makes you feel like shit after reading it.

Yandere Kanojo 36.1 & 37

Seriously, this is the best 4-koma comic I've ever read. I love it. Someone bring it to the west and let me buy it in physical form please.

...although the mangaka is pretty much just doing "Every background character has a story to tell!" now, which is okay I guess. They're all pretty adorable and heartwarming, so...

Yes, it's sad as fuck but it was decent. My first thought was that "the writer had some bad news and wanted to punish someone", but then I decided that it was pretty decent and it made sense.

Kagami 29 - This is not an epilogue. I expected a little resolution. Seriously, man. Reward that confession and all.

I think this man just can't write an ending to save his life.

Let's Lagoon 1-19

- Eh so it's a fairly standard desert island survival serie-- wait, what?
- Sure, now that you've escaped let's try and go back to the quasi-uninhabited island with no hope of rescue.
- Okay the new girl is a fruit loop. I like her. She should be the heroine.
- Dammit MC.
She seems to be handling the rejection well but I'd love to see her lose her shit and screw around with a timeline or 10.

Pretty decent read so far. I sorta get the Cage of Eden comparisons.

I love this series so much, it's so silly. Also, Ran is easily top tier by the manga's standards for shenanigans.

...why is there a Zebraman 2 manga? There's no way in hell you can have the impact of the movie on a page. Why tarnish a standout modern classic, the most electrifying example of contemporary Japanese cinema?

Nope, though
Miu's at least probably back to normal now
.

Damn, trying to consider if I want to catch up. I wanted to let the arc finish the rest of the way and marathon (left off where Kenichi met the princess). Does it seem like it will conclude within the next few chapters? Thanks for the response, btw.

Iirc, I personally felt as if the ending came on kind of fast despite the build-up. One moment alright, next moment :/...:'( kind of thing. It was a great manga though.

I think it's still on break for another week but more-or-less, the Miu part of it seems to be wrapping up. The masters still need to go at it, though.
