Best thing for the Rams to do is work a trade for Bradford with Seattle that can somehow offload the cap hit of his rookie deal, and draft RGIII for themselves. Seattle would throw two 1sts minimum for Bradford.

I usually watch a few races every year. Daytona, Talladega, and Bristol are probably my favorites even though that's pretty generic.

What do you mean by this? Haven't been watching the combine, but every game clip I've seen of Burfict he looks slow as heck. Especially in his initial burst. He might have a great 40 time, but to me his first 5 and 10 yards looks really slow.

Wellington was high on him prior to the combine. He sucked at the combine posting a slower 40 than a 346 pound DT.:)

Not to mention he played the blame game when asked about his 2011 season throwing his coaches under the bus.

What was the 40? Have they done cone and shuttles yet? Cant imagine that would be much better considering how slow he looked in game. How can he blame the coaches for his lack of speed? Unless one of them was his dad it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I've been pretty busy lately, and missed the most of the combine and any talk around it, so I'm probably re-posting this gem:

Looks like Kris Dielman is retiring. :(

O-line looks to be in shambles right now. The only two starters signed right now are Vasquez and Clary.
 
Mychael Kendricks had a good day (finally finishing up the LB drills right now). Interesting guy for the Giants to look at in the 3rd (possible 2nd?) round as an upgrade at MLB.
 
Why do you guys care so much about the combine?

The guys that rule in the combine are rarely great players. It doesn't matter if you can run a 4.3 as a receiver if you don't know how to run a route, read coverage or catch a ball. It doesn't matter how many times you can bench 500 lbs if your footwork sucks and you are to dumb to know how to work within a pro defense.

Getting the combine freaks never paid off for Oakland.

I think the only thing more worthless than the combine is probably the Wonderlic...

Combine alone is worthless. It's the combination of the numbers with the players performances and reps that matter. Burfict is a perfect example. Reported character issues, bad tape, shit combine.

It's also why i'm a little wary of Poe now. His freakish combine strength hasn't shown up on gameday.

Well the Raiders only used to judge players based on their forty time not the other parts of the combine. How else would you establish a baseline when college players come from all over the country and play various levels of competition? I wouldn't say it's the only one to evaluate players but it certainly matters quite a bit.

Saw that report from the Tribune earlier today; bad news. We need to put big money down on VJ and pick up a lot of pieces for our D. It was gonna be hard doing that while trying to resign Gaither and Hardwick, but now we need to find a new LG as well.

AJ is gonna be having a very busy and stressful offseason haha.

Going to be an interesting off-season for sure. I'm both scared and excited to see how everything shakes out.
