Why do you guys care so much about the combine?
The guys that rule in the combine are rarely great players. It doesn't matter if you can run a 4.3 as a receiver if you don't know how to run a route, read coverage or catch a ball. It doesn't matter how many times you can bench 500 lbs if your footwork sucks and you are to dumb to know how to work within a pro defense.
Getting the combine freaks never paid off for Oakland.
I think the only thing more worthless than the combine is probably the Wonderlic...
O-HWhen you say Wiiiiiiiiisconsin
You said it all!!!!!
I'm good until at least 3 EST.No sleep tonight.
Keep me company GAF.
I'm good until at least 3 EST.

Papa Shango up in this.World Wrasslin Entertainment Federation?
Sooooo, is there any reason to watch NASCAR except for the crashes?
Also, why do you let a vehicle filled with 200 gallons of jet fuel on the track with other cars?
Wright vs. Floyd, both highly regarded WRs now after the combine I'm sure Floyd gained the edge.
Almost done.
Blahhhhhh
Almost done.

Patriots prepared to lose Matt Light, Dan Koppen
In the weeks since the Patriots lost the Super Bowl, weve passed along reports noting that tackle Matt Light could retire, and that center Dan Koppen could leave via free agency.
The Patriots are prepared for both scenarios.
Greg A. Bedard of the Boston Globe reports that the Patriots are satisfied with where they are on the offensive line even if both Light and Koppen depart this offseason.
New England expects veteran right guard Brian Waters to return for another year and to sign center Dan Connolly to a new deal before the free agency period starts on March 13. The Patriots also like what they have in young offensive linemen Nick McDonald, Ryan Wendell and Marcus Cannon, and theyd be satisfied with Nate Solder and Sebastian Vollmer as their starting tackles.
Its still far from a sure thing that Light will retire at the age of 33. But if he does, the Patriots think theyll be just fine without him.
I need some smelling salts. Fuck.
In future all non-sanctioned voting threads in Gaming Discussion will be locked if we see them. Thank you.
Holy shit I cant believe people cant vote on stuff without permission. I wonder what brought that on.
"Did he have hands? Did he have a face? Yes? Then it wasn't us."
Who can identify this quote?
Fuck that I didnt realize that making threads was part of this deal. The op's in those thread are like 6 posts long and shit, seems like more work then it is worth. The biggest fall release for vita i probably the new AC game that vita is getting.
lol, I wonder how many of those are actually done by regular joe's anymore.PR-for-free

Come release season only official marketing OT's will be allowed. You'll be making bank!.....are there are big Vita releases in the fall??
Me too. I know of at least one guy who is for sure a marketing guy for a particular company. He sloughed it off by saying "So what if I am?" By and large, people don't care, it seems.
But seems to me if you run a open topic discussion board, you really ought to have a real reason for banning certain types of threads outside of "I don't like them." Their house, their rules, sure, but I wonder if they see the parallels between that mindset and the actions of any other company that restricts user rights for arbitrary reasons. Probably not.
Sanjuro,RBH.. we're the unfortunates !

Gaming side is too serious.
To me posting in an OT for a big game is pointless anyway. It gets buried in tons of other posts, so more specific discussions are more my thing.
I thought the voting thread restrictions were just so people don't create generic threads a la "What is your favourite system/RPG/whatever?" with stupid lists and such?
CALL OF DUTYZ, MANG!!!!
O MY F'N GOD!
I can't aim well at all in Uncharted, kind of worried about how much I'd enjoy shooters on this thing. Any tips for settings in Uncharted?
You get used to it fairly quickly. Have you tried moving the Vita (gyro) to aim instead of the analog sticks? It works surprisingly well. If not, turn it off as yankeehater mentioned.levious said:I can't aim well at all in Uncharted, kind of worried about how much I'd enjoy shooters on this thing. Any tips for settings in Uncharted?
Give the gyro aiming a shot and see if it clicks for you. It takes some getting used to but it made the game almost too easy at times when you figure out how to properly line up headshots.levious said:now I don't know what to do!
The first games QTE fest? No.levious said:I actually liked the end bosses in all the PS3 uncharted games, did you not like those as well?
Anyone want to buy a slightly used Vita?
lol, I wonder how many of those are actually done by regular joe's anymore.
For Golden Abyss, take the first games QTE's and replace it with endless touch screen swiping. If you're playing on hard, make it so you can't miss more than twice or you have to do the whole thing over again (on Crushing you can't mess up at all). Oh yeah and you have to do two different full sequences for two different bosses. Yeah, not a fan. Easily the worst aspect of the game for me. Thankfully, it doesn't ruin the overall experience.
EDIT: By the way, Mutant Blob is amazing!
Mass Effect 3 comes out next week.I didnt even realize.
What a clown.

Regular melee encounters can be done with a button. Usually the melee finisher is done with a touchscreen swipe though, yeah. I don't believe there is any way to disable those.Dragon said:Futurevoid the hand to hand combat in Golden Abyss is touch screen only? You can't turn that off?
If we get another we can be like the four horsemen and sign up to the WWE
Also that son of bitch SNES gave me a seahawks avy on his taco bell forum -_-

As for the last two encounters, yes they are all pure touchscreen swiping and there's no way to disable that.
