wow, we fucking suck.

Is it Knicks time yet?

Hasn't Wall been playing well of late? Because he looks as garbage as the last time he played the Magic :(

Every player on this roster just fucking goes horrendous when we play you guys. Noone can guard Howard, and your 3 pointers just DESTROY us. we just don't play defense at all.

The link said it was B-Easy for a pick not the TPE. We could use that on Sessions. STOP BEING CHEAP, BUSS!

You can't take in a player without giving out a player of like 70% contract (forgot the new rule number) unless you use the TPE or are under the cap.

All trades must involve 2 thins going. No one can trade someone for a TPE. A draft pick must always be included. Even if it's a conditional 2nd rounder, you can't just give someone away.

The offer was Beasley for $6.2 mil of the TPE and the lakers best 1st rounder. Would leave $2 mil TPE left.

I don't think you can split TPE's

No, you can use portions of the exception. Toronto used part of their Bosh trade exception to absorb James Johnson. They still had a huge exception left.

If the Lakers were to acquire Beasley by absorbing his salary like that, they wouldn't be trading an exception to the Wolves. The Wolves would just get cap space by having Beasley's salary off the books.

Guess I'm wrong.

And damn college ball is increasingly difficult to watch... gonna get stuck watching the cats/pitsons and cavs/knicks

I don't think you can. You can split MLEs

A trade exception is not something that is actually traded, it's just used to absorb incoming salary. So, yes, it can be split up.

Should the Lakers acquire Beasley this way, they would still have a small exception left.

It's not enough for both Sessions and Beasley though, right? At least the FO is prioritizing the right position.

You know you have Zeller in your future, so you are trying to sell yourself on him?

Please tell me this is the reason...please

I don't think the Jazz will take him, Zeller's just been a really good college basketball player this year while Barnes has been a bit underwhelming. Zeller's scoring nicely and playing smart defense and rebounding. Barnes can shoot threes and pumpfake, but he's not giving much else.

Barnes is still a better pro prospect and by a good bit though and Zeller will probably bust in the NBA since he's a senior big man.
