Now, I'm just confused.
I'm liking the anime just fine thus far, haven't seen any reason to drop it.
Unless people are trying to hint at me a sudden turn for the worst.
Don't drop it.*MarkWahlburgTheHappening.gif*

I know, and it sucks. There are plenty of shows where once you know what happens next and at the end, there isn't any reason to watch it again. The experience of the first time watching it was what made it worth it, once that's gone, it's gone and you can't ever get it back.
I have entirely too many of those on my computer.Once you've made it through Madoka, you have no choice other than resorting to reading fan comics aboutlike the rest of us. It's not such a bad fate.Homura trying to steal Madoka's pantsu
Did you ever finish IS?![]()
I personally think people who insinuate things about the Usagi Drop anime should be banned.
Ignore everyone; they're just being idiots.
Don't drop it.
Just keep watching and ignore what other people are saying. You just said something related to the manga that people get worked up about.

5 Centimeters Per Second
I've got The Place Promised on the Instant Queue and it sort of prompted me to reflect on when I watched 5 Centimeters a while back. I ended up watching it twice, just to listen to both dubs. The story structure is captivating, its fairly nuanced in its presentation and the film is a visually stunning array of locales and scenery. I have to say though, I feel like in order to get maximum value out of it is to, at one point, have been in a serious relationship. There were no manly tears on my end, no swelling of emotions, just nothing. I wouldn't argue with someone if they put it on their Top 10 for greatest anime films list. I think I liked it more for the imagery than the story itself.
Well, even then I think someone who had a relationship severed byNo it's more like you have to have been inwhat you thought was a serious relationship when you were a dumb, naive kid.
I am both offended also ashamed. No it's more like you have to have been inwhat you thought was a serious relationship when you were a dumb, naive kid.
I don't think it has to have been a romantic relationship. A childhood friend and I have been growing further and further apart over the years, and the movie dialed right into that.5 Centimeters Per Second

That's a good point. There seems to be something there for everyone in the film. As indifferent as I was, I think the second arc drew the most empathy from me.I don't think it has to have been a romantic relationship. So watched the first 4 eps of Milky holmes.
And people say precure makes you feel dumb?
I'm getting a moe 3 stooges vibe.
Still... not really hating it ;/
The bits of different animation or art styles seen sometimes in the series make things different and often funnier, I'd say. It is often good stuff, yeah.woo blasted through season 1 of Milky Holmes!
WTF IS GOING ON IN SEASON 2? It's like the cut the chains of sanity. My brain is doing cart wheels!
And why are there some really good animation sequences in this show? It's like inception levels of ... trolling? No clue. I assume those people are having a blast making this.
I know I've said it repeatedly, but the people calling it bad are wrong!Moretsu Pirates - 2 & 3
It's moving really slow but I don't think it's as bad as some of the reactions here paint it to be. Episode 2 was totally forgettable but I thought episode 3 wasn't too bad. They did a good job of portraying how incredible it is to step into space for your first time.
Having Hanazawa helps too. Those glasses and dat voice, man.
The pacing within the episodes is often slow, but it's compelling and works well. The main problem I have is that so many of the episodes leave me wanting to see the next episode now, not in a whole nother week... it's kind of frustrating, but in a good way.It isn't bad if you get to watch it consecutively, but watching that week by week makes it feel horribly paced. It took 5 weeks for anything significant to even happen.
That's ... odd. Why do we need a Pac-Man CG series, now? I would have low expectations for sure as well...http://www.animeanime.biz/all/122292/
Looks like the Pac-Man anime is going to be a "big deal" for Bandai Namco. This is really kinda weird and fucked up. They're going full steam ahead with a 26 episode full season of a Pac Man CG animation series for 2013. The show will have an insane budget of 600,000 USD per episode. Avi Arad is the adviser for Bandai Namco Holdings on this project, while the show's producer is Rick Ungar, and the writers on the show are Tom Ruegger and Paul Rugg.
Why? Why is this happening? What is possessing them??
Only the second has resealable wrap, but they both look pretty good:

I disagree. It's more easily relatable, sure.Well, even then I think someone who had a relationship severed bywould find empathy for the characters, which is mostly the point I was trying to make.time and distance
There's a thing called inconsistency that prevents this from being wholly true.
It was so bad, it became good honestly.
Do you like apocalyptic tragedy action shows starring little kids?Huh. I haven't heard of Bokurano until now. The wiki description of it seems kinda interesting.
Is it worth checking out?
Self-aware, or "wanting to not show any in order to pretend to be classier", to give the cynical explanation?K-On was at least self-aware enough to make a joke about pantyshots, which makes it not-not aware at all at a minimum.
No, just watch Shadow Star Narutaru instead. It's kind of like Pokemon.
And then read the manga if that doesn't satiate you!
What, do you mean me there? If so, I don't have bad taste, everyone else does!Terribly so. Another reason, I hold no faith in humans and the poor taste MAN supports so openly.
This is what I said. More Green attack for the eyes please, people watching Smile Precure! Moar!
Samurai Champloo: 1
Again, with family. Which is perfect timing, really, as I had planned to dust this off again before Apollon. This show does not get old. Watanabe is the master of broship--The nudges/asshole remarks, so good. As was the general direction; it would have gotten old had Watanabe(both story-boarded and directed this ep) kept it throughout the series, and fast, but I'd argue that the vinyl-scratch allowed him to make cuts that otherwise would have been absolutely horrible. It'd be interesting hear of a method that would allow for the freedom comparable, but not become an annoying gimmick after an episode or two. Also, to call back to a point made on Cowboy Bebop in here a long while back, he did employ the first-person perspective here too--towards the end, during the coin flip. Another debut ep. Bets Apollon uses it in the first ep?
I can't believe that show got licensed. Yet whenever I go to Best Buy it's right there on the shelf, scantily clad underaged vampire and all.
What, do you mean me there? If so, I don't have bad taste, everyone else does!![]()
What, are you saying I should watch the show too? I haven't watched Precure, apart from a couple of episodes of HeartCatch (and a movie or two, I believe); they were okay, but certainly nothing great..
I think people should just accept that it happened and move on.
I am both offended also ashamed.
Nina: You're pigheaded.

Glass Fleet: The Legend of the Wind of the Universe 7
"Those are the wings of an angel." - Cleo of the Wind
indeed, the revelation that michel was actually a woman posing as her dead brother is truly the kind of shocking twist that only a show like glass fleet could deliver.
The galaxy in revolution. Renaissance.
I've been rewatching this recently. I'm up to ep. 11 or 12, and yeah, it's still a really good series. As a history person though, I can't help but be annoyed by all of the ways it ignores history. I know they don't care -- they say so at the beginning of ep. 1 after all -- but ... I can't help but be annoyed anyway.Apart from that it's really good, however.
Just ignore the manga and you will be fine.
There's nothing wrong with the manga, I encourage Ultimadrago to read it after he has finished the anime.
Usagi Drop 6 - 8.5
Man, it really stinks that it feels like I'm burning through this. Gonna start pacing it out from here on. Still enjoying the intro art style and I haven't skipped the OP or ED. They're just nice to listen to and watch.
Story wise it's unraveling more or less as I'd expect. I still, but they've illustrated their suffering too.think not so highly of Rin's mom
I can only wonder how/if they'll expand of Daichiwith only 3 eps left. Anyways, good stuff.getting dat Kouki's mom ass
Why... lol, why are you stopping in the middle of the eps to write your post? I noticed it in your last one.
No, there are disc-only short episodes that take place inbetween episodes.
Oh there's a few of us Ro-Kyu-Bu! fans around. I know I've spent at least $1000 on it.How could a series like Ro-Kyu-Bu be considered overrated? Nobody thinks it's even remotely enjoyableexcept for myself.
Usagi Drop 6 - 8.5
I'll need to think about this...
Don't think. There is no manga. Usagi Drop is an original work.
I highly recommend the spinoff Live Action movie though. firehawk will vouch for me.
Read the manga, trust me.
To prevent any more confusion, I'll just say the Usagi Drop manga goes in a direction that not everyone is receptive to. The problem is 90% of the people complaining about it haven't actually read it and only know what happens. Not to say they would change their opinion if they did read it, but it's something to keep in mind.
It's your choice whether to continue or not, but I'd advise against spoiling yourself either way.
