I think the solution is simple--Saints have to forfeit their playoff victory to Detroit and the entire playoffs must be replayed from that point forward.
I wouldn't mind that.

sigh So now I really don't care who they draft on defense. Prepare to be 2011 Panthers bad on D and just fix the fucking offense
Guys, you still hate us Patriots more than the Saints right ?
I have the biggest fucking grin on my face right now.

This stuff happens throughout the league in one form or another, but the NFL hasn't done a fucking thing about it for years. In typical NFL fashion they will make an example out of a team and pretend like they stopped it as soon as they discovered it's existence. LOL
What's the big deal with bounties? I don't see what's wrong with it. It's not like they're going to stab these people, they're going to hit them, football style, while playing football. It's like getting a bonus for being the top seller in a sales job.
Not cheating, just awesome.
have specific allegations of money under the table ever been made in the past? I don't recall.

Spygate's enforcement was based on a memo. Bounties are non-contract bonuses that violate NFL Constitution and Bylaws and the CBA.
This is made even funnier because the Saints D can't tackle for shit.
Not of this magnitude, but Jimmy Johnson called out Buddy Ryan for putting X dollars on a players head.
After the Niners game the Giants flat out said they wanted to take out Kyle Williams, pointed at his concussion history, not a single fuck was given. Giants didn't need extra financial motivation though, lol.

As far as I've heard so far about this, it's encouraging trying to injure other players. On purpose. That's pretty effin' shady.
Giants didn't exactly hit Williams though, he kinda did all of his damage to himself.

I want my players to ALWAYS be trying to injure the other team. That's how they should play. When I played football, I was always trying to injure the other player. Shit, when I played soccer, I was always trying to injure the other players.

Goodell loves this shit. He'll make some dumb announcement about the punishment to show how hard ass he is and then burn the 50,000 pages in his lavish fireplace. He's like Vince McMahon.
