Does anyone want one of those Gameplay/Gamestation online voucher codes? I have one and have no intention of using it.

Any bomba prices for Vita launch software yet?

I want Virtua Tennis 4 and Ninja Gaiden but not at £30. Wouldn't be averse to picking up Little Deviants or Ridge Racer for a tenner, either.

The system has been out for a week and the UK marketplace isn't claiming bomba victims yet? Come on, bloody hell!

Holy hell dude, I was willing to sit it out till May for bomba prices to happen. :lol

Virtua Tennis and Ninja Gaiden can be bought for £25 each (simplygames & sainsburys respectively). Not a huge saving but every bit counts

If the question was out of the rules, I'm sorry. :(

It wasn't, nothing to worry about.
On topic, can't help you with The Witcher 2 if it HAS to be redeemable on Steam. The Steam updates thread now has a ban rule for people begging for codes, but afaik there's still the Steam for everyone thread where you could ask a kind gaffer to gift it to you (and you'll paypal him what it's due of course), maybe somene will drop you a code in there. i know many here are swimming in those codes and there's many which are about to expire soon or actually have already (what a freakin' waste!). Or maybe have a look into the FREE to a good Home thread is there's people throwing 40%off codes around.

A friend asked what was the best deal for a PS3.
Anyone?

I'm in Italy.

Amazon.it had a great deal the other day for a 160GB, €179 (shipped) iirc, dunno if it's still going.

EDIT: it's at €207 now, rrp is €249
http://www.amazon.it/dp/B005C5XXI4/

Also Uncharted 3 has been at €29 since forever, awesome deal since the UK version as usual wth Sony's first party titlesl isn't multi language (if you care about that) while the ITA sku is a full multi(3?) release.

Twisted Metal is on preorder for €40, kinda surprised the rrp is only €49 (U3's rrp is €69, lol). Makes sense considering the franchise isn't popular at all in EU.

Ah yes, I've seen some really good price on there (was 199 euro) and told so to my friend.
Thank you Gigi La Trottola ;-)

I miss the days when 2100 spacebucks cards were £14.99 in multiple places. I know it's not a huge difference in price, but now I've had the luxury I want it again :P

Anyone have any preferences between these online services with (reasonably) quick code delivery?

Hey chaps, quick question - cancelled my ME3 CE preorder with ShopTo, as they were useless and didn't reply to any query about that getting the preorder bonus, so I stuck with Play (who explicitly stated that all copies would get it, from them). Just had a go at ShopTo about it over Twitter (and the cheeky bastards have lost me as a customer in the future).

Question, though - am I unlikely to get it on the Friday, do you think? :( Has anyone here had good experiences from Play at getting games on release day, or even the Thurs before?

Very agitated with ShopTo's pisspoor attitude right now.

You lost your rag over a worthless pre-order trinket? Really?

Tesco had a £5 off pre-orders thing the other week that got it down to £32.90, don't think it's still valid though. Not seen anything lower than that since.

The tesco code doesn't work anymore. But asda are doing a £5 off using code GPO52402, bringing the total to £32.97 for the 360/PS3 versions.

Damn straight - If I'm paying that much for an N7 edition, I want the entire set - minus armour and assault rifle does not count.

But it's more the snide attitude they displayed that set me off, along with their gawd-awful customer 'service'. The damned place should never have been unbanned on here...

Anyone who bought Binary Doman from Zavvi used the code they sent for singleplayer?

I have two codes: one is in this format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and I've already redeemed it but the other one is in this format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX which gives me an error.
Someone else has the same issue?

(Also, +1 for Zavvi regarding delivery: despatched on the 29th february and received today 2nd march)

did you try the Live Chat option on the shopto website? always a useful customer rep on there to help.

There wasn't yesterday (Thurs) - all they did was redirect me to a page which said only the standard edition got the preorder bonus. The other site specified that the Collectors Edition got it as well, so I thought 'an extra five pounds... but that's worth it'. Very disgruntled about the whole situation, and tempted to just downgrade.

Play seems to have a very mixed reception, delivery wise - but I trust GAF's general opinion.

GAF, where's everyone buying their US games these days? I know of Movietyme, Planet Axel, VG+, NCSX, Play-Asia and Tronix, wondered if there was anywhere I'd missed.

(With reasonable shipping rates to the UK, so not amazon.com)

Play are ok i guess, but there's been many times when i havent had a preorder delivered on the release date. Usually a day late.

Planet Axel was my go to place for my last few games, VG+ was before that, but I got pissed with them after the hack - and subsequent lack of info.

There will always be people/orders with problems with delivery, no matter if you order from Amazon, ShopTo or Play.com (I've actually had more problems with Amazon than TheHut). Those online stores can only send the game to you and even the most hated ones like Zavvi usually do without too much hassle. It's the post office's job to actually get the game to you. Of course, there are different, faster options for delivery, but with places like Play.com, you're not paying anything for p&p, so you've got to understand they aren't necessarily using the fastest options that will guarantee a fast delivery (sometimes it might be superfast, sometimes not). I've gotten stuff from Zavvi to Finland in about 3 days (and this just days before Christmas, when deliveries can be really slow, at least in Finland), so it's clearly not in their hands how long the delivery takes.

ShopTo have stated that they don't know yet if they will be getting the bonuses with the N7 editions. I've seen the screenshot of their reply stating that on here at least a couple of times, so browsing the "Game not stocking ME3" thread would have told you what you needed to know.

No need to start kicking off because they don't have an answer for you - what are they supposed to do, conjure some DLC out of thin air just to please you? Their service is far from "piss poor" - every question I've asked them has been answered within a couple of hours, most games are dispatched within 5 minutes, preorders usually arrive 1-2 days before release, and they give you £5 credit if you don't get your preorder by release day. If you think that's poor I'd like to see your example of good service.

I use CD Universe. Especially since they still carried a lot of GBA games up until a while ago and kinda "rare" NDS releases for a pittance.

Shopto have now confirmed that both editions of ME3 will get the n7 pack.

Cheers! I feel a little more at ease now, I guess as with anything it ultimately depends on Royal Mail, but the individual company's timeliness in actually geting goods into the service is still a part of that. A day late, I guess I can live with...

PaulLFC - I count prompt, accurate answers, with an apology if they make an error, as good customer service. ShopTo have had none of those qualities these past couple of days. Believe you me, I have been keeping an eye, almost constantly on that thread. As Roxas mentions, you are a little behind on this subject matter...

Agree.

ShopTo's support is top notch. If I want to get a new game really fast and properly packaged, then I'm ordering there. Also they are sending always from U.K., which means no custom fees for me. Had a question about the Dark Souls LE (situation was that US LE's got downgraded to digital everything). They replied very fast and knew what they were talking about (Europe got the proper LE with CD, etc.). Play's support is non existant - although they resend lost packages w/o issues. Thehut/Zavvi's support is at least available, but most of the time it takes days, although I won't complain because of their prices.

I'm pretty sure a week or so ago, Nintendo had a press release where they stated if you pre-ordered Kid Icarus you'd get 24 free AR cards in addition to the 6 it comes with. Has anyone seen this mentioned in any pre-order deal? Or any good KI pre-order deals in general?

FFXIII-2 soon hitting the price I'm willing to pay for it, only needs to go down £10.

Still waiting for LOTR: War in the North to hit £15.
