I'm going to start collecting names for people that want to participate. I'll do it like last year: I won't assume you're in unless you tell me. It should be considered a consensus pick - team members should collaborate to choose someone instead of one just blurting out their pick. My daughter is impatient and owns my iPad, so i'm going to be less patient in waiting; say, four hours selection time per team. You don't make the time, you get skipped.

Raiders fans - You don't have to.

No. Because we don't have anything to trade and it gets messy. Rams age should just try to determine who gets drafted with the Rams pick. Also, let's keep the regulars to their teams for now. We'll fill it out once the main ones are complete.

What is this for?

In.

Should we do trades? Since it's pretty certain that the Rams are moving out of the two spot?

You can add me to the Packers.

Even though I'm totally going to go with whatever they pick because they probably know more than I do about this draft class.

If the Browns were to sign Wallace, would they be able to give up the Falcons first round pick or do they have to use their own?

He wouldnt be worth the pick AND the money, but it'd be pretty funny if the Browns tried to give a collective FU to the Steelers.

As I understand it under the new CBA you have to give up your own pick, and not any you may acquire. So it sort of favors teams in the back half of the draft

Wow you expect that bounty shit from criminals like the Ravens or scumbags like the Pats but I was surprised to see it come out of New Orleans. I always thought the complaints from the division were just sour grapes.

Nice to see Ben restructure and us finally cutting Farrior. Smith is a loss but he hasn't been healthy in forever and I expect him to retire and Farrior to end up in Dallas or DC. With the money from Ben hopefully we can sign Wallace long term and prematurely end FMT's wet dreams of him in a Niner uniform (would have been so sad to see him waste his career there with Smith short arming or missing him when he was open, if they get a qb there then Wallace would probably make them the favorites).

lolololllllllllll your team isn't keeping wallace. that ship has sailed. now, whether or not the niners get him is up for debate but there is no way a team doesn't give up a 1st for the fastest WR in the league

He's exactly the type of receiver we need to compliment Fitz. No way we throw that much money into receiver though.

first off you guys would be giving up a top 15 pick or so. secondly you already have too much money invested in WR. lastly, your team was retarded and gave kolb a bunch of money when he hadn't proved anything in the league so i'm not sure they want to go out immediately the next year and give up more money + a pick for a player

Wallace isn't washed up enough for the Cards to want him.

It hurts because it's true. Horton was an amazing pickup, though! I really wanted Butler but Horton has worked out great. Now I fear more teams trying to poach him for HC after this season which is a good problem to have. At least compared to the alternative.

I said we wouldn't put that much money into the WR position! That's why it won't happen. I don't know that I wouldn't rather have Wallace than whoever falls to 13 otherwise but it's not a reality for the reason we both stated. Kolb will be gone when we bring Peyton in ;)

On the radio they were discussing possible penalties for the Saints and one interesting one was them losing the franchise tag.

I would be all for this cause it would mean they would probably lose Nicks. :D

Ugh, that's actually the smart thing for the Bears to do.

In a perfect world, you would just be able to tag an elite back year to year for the whopping 3 years that they're dominant and then let them walk.

nicks and colston are basically gone already. losing the tag would mean brees could be gone if he wanted to. can you imagine the spending frenzy if brees was a FA?

Doubt it. Aaron Smith stressed highly that he never wanted to play for another team. He'll probably retire.

Farrior and Ward though fully intend to play this season.

Hmmm..That's too bad. I know he's a Steeler and all but he was/is a great player when healthy.

Farrior and Ward I'm not interested in.

You think Colston is leaving? I figured it more likely to let Meachem go. If they kept one WR, it'd be Colston. No idea what he's asking for though.

he's a FA and the saints won't be able to match what he'll get on the open market. hope the niners don't go after him though. he's slow, cant' get open and has had 3 knee surgeries in 4 years. no thanks!

I figured they would get a deal done with Brees and tag either Colston or Nicks. If Brees became a FA this offseason would officially be the greatest ever.

His injuries are what concern me too. I figured Meachem was the best realistic prospect for our #2. Garcon might be interesting but I haven't seen enough from him to know how much was shitty QB play and how much is him.

With Garcon turning down $35m I wouldn't bother calling. His complete misunderstanding of his value means you'd just be wasting time instead of pursuing a more reasonable target.

I think the Rams should tag Lloyd. He's not worth it but they need him for next year.

but a lot of these saints receivers (just like guys with the pats and colts with peypey) are good because of the qb. colston doesn't have to get open with the saints because brees can put the ball into spots the defender can't get to.

i see the rams overpaying for colston

i think it's the right move too, tag him this year and next year and let him walk away. would have got 6 good years out of him at that point, and likely he'd be on the downside of his career anyways.

That's very true and there's the same concern with any player that's always been attached to an elite QB. Lot's of people clamoring for Wayne but between his age and always have Peyton... He sure didn't do much without Manning.

On Facebook Big Ben said they are going to keep Wallace (that's probably what he said i did not actually watch the video). And I implicitly trust Facebook and Big Ben. Neither has ever lied to me or raped me before.

I hope you enjoyed last season FMT because it is going to be all downhill from here. The Alex Smith bubble is about to burst and players will always turn on a douchebag as big as Harbaugh.
