- Wat, 4 new pages of Hype Train in just a few hours ? wow !

- Wat, a guy talking about me in spanish ? Google trad is soooo broken, wat did he say ? ><

- Wat, i've never stated "it's 2gb, 100% sure", i said that, that, and that (the latter, in answer to that. Oh and lherre's that is really important to consider also.

- Wat, an incoming artist war between Mistle and Nibel ? It's like a Virtua Fighter Versus Match featuring Picasso Vs Dali ? /popcorn

Hey, IdeaMan has an idea ! Why don't you do the Gogeta SSJ4 fusion dance* to become Nibstle and create an even more awesome HypeTrain :D

-*Wat, the english voices sucks way more than french ones in Dragon Ball ! French FTW !

Them's fighting words.

I just came back from a family event a few hours ago and met a distant relative whom I rarely see and we talked briefly. The guy remembered that I'm into video games and flat out told me that he's involved with working on some component (didn't say what kind) for the Xbox 360's successor. I'm not familiar with the company or what exactly they do, but it's called Tensilica. He told me that they started to work on a component back in November 2011. The guy does a lot of traveling and told me he has an upcoming meeting in Japan. However, I don't know if that has anything to do with that specific component he's involved in.

I asked him if he knew anything about the Wii U, but said his company wasn't involved with it.

Sure, more people can be stacked in the back if they must. Just don't put them anywhere other than the carriage, and don't block off anybody who got an early ticket :P

Uh oh we have a special person! You just like that version because it has your avatar in it. But the big, chaos one is a much better representation of the GAF hype train. Even more carts should be added.

B!
Y!
2!
K!

Bug of the Year 2000

That's not complicated, is it?

Whatever

LOL. To be fair he is the original creator of it so I can understand why he feels the way he does.

They make Processor Cores, so he's likely the manufacture for the Duragno's processor.
Much like NEC makes GPUs for Nintendo.

Ok, so we have a hype train. Shouldn´t we have some expectations to go with that?

What do you think we will learn about Wii U at GDC:

1. New feature about the controller?
2. More news about online stuff?
3. Changed name of Wii U to something else?
4. Game announcement for Wii U?
5. Leaks about anything Wii U?
6. Nothing
7. Something else?

I´m going with number 1,2 and 5.

Only 2 days left :)

You should post that in one of the Xbox 3 threads. The main thing they seem to focus on are DSPs based on their website.

I'm approved and legitimationalized (lulz) by a spanish knight who knows the Wii U specs ? YAY ! /flex

Yeah ok, you started it. It was cool idd. Butttt you can't just stop it in it's tracks when the internet takes control over it and spins it out of control. Oh well, I don't really mind. The train will crash hard when GDC is here anyway :D It's probably better to not be on board then.

So, dunno if this has been brought up before but I think that the System Reqs for Ghost Recon Online should give us a bit of insight, seeing as it's being made for the Wii U as well.

Yeah, I know.. I was really trying my hardest to not be offensive/seem like a jerk. I really enjoy the people in Nintendo threads and the crazy hype we build just for the hell of it

I just have artist instinct I guess. I know what I made is far from art, but I guess I still hold it close like a I would one of my proper artworks XD I know I can't stop what's going on, but I just wanted to express my opinion in a hopefully peaceful manner.

+ something very important that i've hinted quite clumsily and heavily in my posts. Some members like Azak were spot-on on that.

sorry, i have a teasing fever, i can't resist to the temptation :(

Tensilica mostly designs audio and wireless chipsets, components Nintendo typically sources from Macronix and Atheros, Broadcom or Cisco.

I respect the original creator's opinion, but the final chaotic version is the better representation of E3 at GAF. It's crazy, it's filled to the tip, and there is hyperbole everywhere. There is no such thing as a "clean" E3. And how do you choose who is in or not? The first picture everyone is quoting has a handful of random people (no offense) that haven't even posted that much in this thread, and it doesn't have regulars like shockingalberto or SNESfreak.

But that shouldn't even matter because there is no correct or fair benchmark to judge who gets in or doesn't. The only fair thing to do is include anybody who wants a ride on the hype train.

Finally, I liked to thank Nobel, you have done awesome work. Also, thanks to Mistle for the awesome original!

They're there, albeit in banned/ghost form.

That's why the original is probably the best- there's no avatars. So the carriage figuratively has all gaf members! In the end it's just a pic, so might as well just enjoy it in whatever form it comes in. I personally enjoy the first iterations of it (very original, and then the first avatar one in this thread), but that's through the eye of the creator and others might prefer the edited versions. The more we analyse it the less funny it becomes, so lets just let it be

I can agree with that. :)

And you're right, but I'm still sticking by "the more chaotic, the better". :p

Focusing on this since it's the recommended ones, the possible target GPU for Wii U could be on par with or slightly better than the Nvidia one listed here. However I'm looking at that from a "non-closed environment" perspective.

I'm glad I'm not going to die by bgassassin's burning love.

:(

:(

Not the earlier versions that everyone is saying are the superior versions.

Oh gotcha, forgot which one was the original.

Anyway, for what it's worth, I like the more chaotic one, because I think it's hilarious how crazy we all are for jumping on the train, but I wouldn't mind some of the Microsoft/Sony/Patcher stuff being toned down.

Yeah that's when Nibel went astray, but even that isn't godawful or anything.

Ok, so we have a hype train. Shouldn´t we have some expectations to go with that?

What do you think we will learn about Wii U at GDC:

1. New feature about the controller? Yes, I have my heart set on haptic goodness but we may have to wait until E3
2. More news about online stuff? Yes, named accounts for the Nintendo Network and a firmware update for the 3DS getting rid of dreaded Friend Codes
3. Changed name of Wii U to something else? Nope
4. Game announcement for Wii U? Nope, but a possible announcement of Zelda 3DS
5. Leaks about anything Wii U? Very positive feedback from a few behind closed doors demos
6. Nothing
7. Something else?

I´m going with number 1,2 and 5.

Only 2 days left :)

That's what I reckon anyway :oD

The best intermediate in my opinion, between the two would be

1| Remove Pachter, Kazuo
2| Clean up the sun
3| Maybe remove the Death Star
4| Keep Yamauchi, but put him in the top left, remove the things to his right.
5| Clean up the backdrop

And then of course, continue with adding more carts.

LOL. You could have just said keep the original and only add Yamauchi and more carts.

According to Jun Fukuda he hasn't any information about No More Heroes 3, so it's probable that he will not make the music for the game, or the game is not in development stage yet.

I went through the top posters list and added some more people, along with those who PM'd me. Hopefully this fixes the "it's missing too many popular people" complaint. I know some people will still prefer the huge version but I like piling heaps of people into the one carriage :P

I also added Yamauchi as that was the most worthy addition from all the edits :P thanks amtentori
