I'll be on the cruise Monday through Friday. Any advice for the cruise and the Bahamas?

Me, too.

What room are you going to be in?

Bring sea sickness drugs / patch. I don't get sea sick normally, but on the cruise I took, I always felt a bit off, it's a weird sensation, and they fucking gouge you on them onboard.

Also, be careful trying to smuggle booze onto the ship, they will probably x-Ray your bags and will confinscate your booze if they find it. We smuggled a couple bottles on, but our friends tried to bring on lots in their bag and got it all withheld until the trip was over.

wait, so most cruises if you wanna drink in your room you... cant? i thought it was like a hotel, bring in whatever you want cause its your own room

Cruise companies want you to buy alcohol onboard, you can drink in your room but you can't bring onboard any outside liquor.

So what kind of prices are you looking at? By the drink, or by the bottle? Can you bring your own food/non-alcoholic drinks on? Can u get jugs of juice/pop or just individual glasses? Is it room service style only?

Booze was pretty expensive on the cruise I went on. You bought liquor by the glass, beer individually, or in buckets (6-12 beer), wine by glass or bottle. Prices were in line with a typical bar. Pop was expensive too - but you could buy a special thermos cup for $50 and it was unlimited for the trip (which we did and mixed with our smuggled booze). I think juice was free. All the buffet food was free, and really fucking good, but the restaurants have cover charges.

Funny enough, if you try to smuggle wine on, and get caught, they give you an option to keep it, but if you want to drink it in a restaurant, you pay a "corking fee" (like $15) and they let you drink it, so you kind of pay twice.

Not to shit on your thread but I don't get the point of cruises. I can easily go to Vegas or something for the party atmosphere.

Cruises do seem like floating buffets. To be honest, I would enjoy nothing more than eating 10 lbs of shimp cocktail a day while watching the sunset.

Yet, the OP mentions that this is a teenage SPRING BREAK!!!!! deal. Rick sluts willing and ready out the ass.

Don't buy drugs onshore, be hygiene vigilant, and tip your bartender out the ass, he will repay you.

I was in the Bahamas for 10 days in October 2011. My recommendations are that you should go to Atlantis. Entry into Atlantis is free, and you can go to the casino and the aquarium, and tour most of the place without paying a dime. There is a ton to do there without paying anything. Just outside of Paradise Island there is some really nice shopping. If you get the chance, do a fish fry.
