This isnt really fair. Yes, they fucked up enormously with the ending. But Mass Effect 3 really is a great game, not only on its own but especially for the people who are invested in the series. It does SO much right that it hurts all the more what we got for an ending.

I think the whole indoctrination thing is ok. I don't really care how the story actually ends, I think it ends alright. The biggest problem was that the three endings are so similar and it is over so fast.
It should have shown more of what happens with each ending instead of just cutting to credits. They needed to show more than just a colored wave going over everything.
If destroying them doesn't actually kill all synthetics then show that or at least make some hint at that.
Show some more of what happens if he decides to control them... maybe he is tricked and can't control them or is a puppet of harbinger or something... but show some of what happens.
The Darth Bane novels are really good. (Well the first two, the third is ok)

Yes, they are the most Hardcore of all Hardcore gamers, like whine lovers, only they can really appreciate the greatness of a game.
I was working as a game journalist and the people were incredible narcissistic. One of the worst experience was during Gamescon in Germany, they also took part in game tournaments with games, they had the chance to play two days earlier than everybody else. Of course they won and took the prices and trophies to the press center full of pride of their greatness. I was so disgusted.
They deserve all of this, because they are the most important people in the industry and also because they know what really good games are like.

I just remembered that Chakwas and Shepard never got a chance to share the Serrice Ice Brandy in ME3 since I told her to wait until we retake Earth
I had the brandy immediately because I had a feeling I was never going to get the chance.
ShaneB is right. Vega is a pretty plain vanilla character to add to the roster when they could have added a Krogan, or a badass Hanar teammate.

About a DLC ending. At the moment my stance is that i will only buy it if it has the possibility for FemShep (which is the only Shepard) and Liara visiting aunt Tali on Rannoch with their blue babies. If it doesnt have that i dont care. I would have been fine with a not-happy ending in the game, but now i want my fullblown fanfic ending.

I think Vega is okay, about the same level interesting as Jacob.

He's probably needed for balance reasons. Tali and Garrus may be dead, Javik is DLC and Ashley/Kaidan aren't with you in the first missions after the prologue, and may die or not be recruited after the attack on the Citadel. So... only Liara and EDI are 100% certain to be available.
But that's no excuse for being forgettable... Javik was also new and wasn't bad.

i wanted Ashley in my game cuz it was canon from my ME1 game. and i like her new design. Kaidan wasn't bad tho but so fucking boring.

yeah i really like that scene, but it's weird that the Salarian fleet didn't report in at all (for me at least)
But I will bet that you have EA producers asking Bioware pointed questions of where they expect to take the franchise in the future if the Mass Relays and the Citadel are gone.

The protheans did have bad AI they made. Forgot what they were called. It made sense that their AI would go bad though because the Protheans were mean people who enslaved everyone. I don't know why Shep didn't counter with the examples of EDI and the Geth as examples that AI life is just the same as regular life.
