Not quite the spectacle I expected. Welcome back Frankman
Yeah, I've lost a LOT of ban bets over the years. At least 4-5, including the one where I took on the Konex curse and won, but Wellington banned me anyway. BUM! :jakncokeWon't your next ban be like perm? I swear you had so many long bans. oh shit, Giants to win every Super Bowl from now on.
I think it was two, but it was two months too longSup?
Was that a 3 month ban? You were gone a long time.
It will!Welcome back and hey if it works...
The first run was due to the Mets not making the playoffs and getting banned from OT.HAHA
I had a feeling your ass was banned during the first run, didn't trust my shitty memory though.
Yep, posted in GAF NBA IRC room. Were you banned during the Linsanity as well?
It just seems to me that it will be hard for them to bid for Peyton Manning when they have to start out in a salary cap hole. I wonder where they are at now?
She has now been to five zoos. She loves em. The Phoenix Zoo is especially nice for kids. They have a lot of nice touches (stairs to exhibits, glass barriers instead of concrete so short kids can see, etc) that made it more enjoyable for her.
I don't know if you're asking because you want to go to the zoo, but if so, buy a membership. We have one to the Cincy zoo (my wife and I are huge zoo fans) and not only does it get us in to that place for free, it also gets us half off at just about every other zoo in the country. It's a bargain!
Need to get out of house and with summer coming early I wanted to see if your kid liked it.
Mine are only 13 months though so I was not sure if they were old enough. They love being read to though.

We took my daughter to the zoo the first time at 5 months. Obviously, she got nothing out of it. However, since then we've been a bunch and by the time she was able to walk (so 8 months or so) she has loved it.
Baylor, Mizzou, Syracuse, North Carolina
Who you guys got?

So it's spectacle you want...Not quite the spectacle I expected. Welcome back Frankman
Lulz at skins/cowboys article complaining bout the punishment. They weren't punished for spending, they were punished for restructures and salary dumps which the nfl said not to do.
Split fanbase... hahhahaahahahhahaaha.I think people are giving Peyton too much credit. He might of gotten hit in the head one too many times. Going to Arizona to a mediocre team or going to Denver and have that split fanbase since Tebow would be on the bench. SMH. If he wants a superbowl shot, San Fran looks like the best choice now that Texans are out of it.
He hadn't missed a game until the ACL and arguments can be made he was the best corner on the team when he went down and he was preparing for a break out season. The Giants love him (as evidenced by the contract he received). Also, the reports of his rehab going well and far ahead of schedule are seemingly on point if they are willing to commit..Bowser said:Wow, Terrell Thomas got 4 years, $28m ($11m guaranteed) coming off an ACL tear and not playing a down last season. All #s are reportedly legit, no fluff.
Makes sense. The deal, which he confirmed in an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio, contains an option which could get the Giants out of the contract if his knee doesn’t hold up.

Understandable, but are you rooting for the team or the player? Should always want the most talented player at the position. But like you said logic doesn't always figure into the equation.I think you forget that the word "Fan" derives from fanatic. Meaning you need very little "logic or sense" to be swayed a certain way. Tebow fans will be Tebow fans period.
:jnc at us being mediocre with Manning.

Pretty impressive wins with Skeleton if you ask me. Plus that victory against the Cowboys was awesome.
I didn't realize you were there with your family, thought it was just a quick business trip, that's nice! I never knew about zoo membership, I haven't went to them enough times throughout my life. I did make sure to check one out when I was in Australia in 2010 for the exotic animals there. Good times!
Thomas, in an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio moments after signing the deal, said there's $11 million guaranteed in the contract and that there's an option bonus in there. I don't have any information on the guarantees in the deal at this point, but the fact the Giants included an option bonus, as I'd heard they were adamant about, tells me they've protected themselves here because Thomas is coming off his second torn knee ligament.
You see, an option bonus is a way of Jerry Reese getting the "prove-it" kind of deal he loves to secure for players with upside coming off an injury. After that "prove-it" period, if the player is healthy and back to form, the Giants pick up the option and trigger the rest of the contract. A safe bet would be to guess the option bonus is next offseason.
If this all sounds familiar, it's what the Giants did with Shawn Andrews when they signed him in 2010. Andrews signed a six-year, $34.5-million contract with the Giants that had a roster bonus of $3.5 million in the second year. The only guaranteed money in that deal from the jump: $250,000.
Might as well add Carl Nicks to the list too:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/13/with-colston-done-nicks-still-may-be-gone/
I was a visionary picking him up via FA in the Madden league! Mario Williams, Vincent Jackson, Carl Nicks, why not?! Infinity money!
:jnc at us being mediocre with Manning.
The giant envelope I'm sending confused me.I really wanted to answer that question but I re read it like 5 times to make sure I was understanding it properly.
Dude your team is God Tier. Is that what you want to hear? You are the epitome of a "If we would of" fan. If we would of thrown, if we would of caught, if we would of punted, If we would of got the calls.
Let's look at some of your wins. You beat the powerful Rams twice, the Browns, the Panthers, and Seahawks who ended the year with a combined record of 19 wins and 45 losses.
You did however beat some .500 teams two times! Awesome! (Eagles and Cowboys). And you beat the 49ers by a field goal which is a solid win. But when you look deeper and realize Arizona needed OVERTIME to beat the Rams, Browns, Seahawks not to mention Cowboys. The team could of easily finished 4-12 and not 8-8.
Arizona with Peyton Manning would be on the border of mediocre/good team. I don't know why you think the team is up there with the Patriots, Packers or Giants with Peyton Manning. They simply aren't.
Vickers cut, guess it's Casey all the way next season.
"Lance Zierlein just tweeted a few minutes ago that the Texans are not even close to a deal with Myers or Mike Brisiel."
WTF are the Texans really doing and Jacoby as of now is still on the f-ing team.
So confused.
Ouch.
