Ugh, ESPN has their clowns pushing the "entire team against Pringles" agenda when its completely obvious that it's just Melo. Broussard is the worst.

Amare and Tyson have been taking shots at him with quotes "everyone needing to get on board" the entire year when asked about what's wrong with the team.

I read that post in Broussard's voice:[

This. Players have been taking shots at Melo. Even JR takes shot at him. That's what the whole, "I prefer playing with the second unit thing," was about. And Melo didn't want the Knicks to sign JR.

Yeah it's hard to imagine Stat being against Dantoni. He's the only person left on the planet that thinks Stat's still an elite player.

Whenever I try to do the Broussard voice in my head, it ends up sounding like this guy:

I love that quote by Amare: “All of us, every single player, has to buy into it, and give the coach a chance for his strategy to work," “If we don’t, then see what happens.”

Goodbye Carmelo Marbury fuck

This is what cuntmelo did the Linsanity Knicks:

I'm ok with Stat being here. Dudes finished as an upper echelon player, but at least he's trying. His body has failed him. I'll take anything we can get for cuntmelo though.

I said it last weekend. Time to go after the magic center.

This cunt Melo dares to cry about the team not trusting him when he's played like shit. And still hasn't been benched. If that doesn't show trust then I don't know what does. He hasn't brought anything in any facet of the game. And now begs for a fucking trade. I would wait outside this cocksuckers apartment and knife him if he still didn't have some trade value. He's lucky that he can get us something good in return.

Fucking fat, sloppy looking cunt on the court and cries for a trade.

BRING ON THE HOWARD! PUNT THE CUNT MELO TO THE CURB!

Wow. This post would actually get you on a fed radar.

Edit: it'll be fun watching carmelo leave and the knicks still don't make the playoffs though.

Pringles is not the problem. He's not Greg Popovich, but most of the Knicks' problems stem from roster problems. Denver was the perfect place for Carmelo because it's obvious that Carmelo can't play with a second option. Or even a third option. He has to be THE blackhole.

He wasnt a blackhole. They were a better defensive team than they were given credit for.

Look back at his Denver teams. Those were well built squads. And even when Allen was there, all he did was replace Andre Miller.

He had it really good out there. But im not a fan of Ty lawsons size. Pause.

He was given carte blanche to jack up whatever shot he wanted to out there.

While retired Lakers and Bulls coach Phil Jackson has frequently been named as a possible successor to D'Antoni, sources close to retired Utah coach Jerry Sloan say he would be interested in the position. Sloan retired abruptly in February 2011, and was pursued by a number of teams during the summer before resisting the recruiting efforts. In an interview with SI.com in early January, he said he was considering a return.

Goodbye Carmelo Marbury fuck

WTF mang, how long has it been in trying to give Pringles system a chance to work. Seriously, the Knicks have to be the most incompetent franchise. The Knicks are the new old Clippers.

One of the hot topics around the NBA this morning is Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley. The Timberwolves have basically been considering giving him away for a first round pick, as they don’t plan to pay him this summer anyway, but now so many teams are calling with offers that it seems the Wolves may get a solid piece to help them in this season’s playoff effort. The Orlando Magic have offered Jason Richardson, but the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and a few other teams remain in the mix, as well.

I'd probably trade Beasley for Richardson.

The system works. Lin, Novak, Jeffries proved it to be so.

In terms of actually you know, winning a chip, no. It's never proven to work. And it never will because Pringles despises defense. The Knicks knew what they were getting when they hired him. Whenever the Knicks have been successful its been due to hard work, gritty and defensive ball. The Knicks enjoy a hardworking blue collar type of player. Not a 'pretty system' coach and definitely not a jump shooting primadonna like Melol.

Mike has never had the best player in a conf. final series. All his teams have had success. He's helped slap around Kobe for a few seasons, for gods sake. Dont knock the dude for shit out of his control. Dirk came up big and Tim came up big.

Trust me, I understand real Knicks ball. But that was the 90s. We all have to let it go.

Who would be more likely to stay after the season, Howard or Deron Wlliams?

It's crazy that a max contract on a broken horse like Amare isn't one of their two biggest problems right now. I even think Linsanity is a bad thing at this point for them. If the Knicks even considered trading him - instant backlash. Melo is on the hot seat far sooner than he would have been because of it also. Not that it isn't warranted, but it's simply high tension in NY with very little wiggle room. I don't even blame Anthony for requesting out if it's true. He doesn't fit the system. The scrutiny is too immediate and high-pressured to be productive, when trying to figure out the system and the team has no direction. More importantly they have no direction for him.

In a fantasy world, I would fix the Knicks like this: Melo for Deron. In a heartbeat. Yeah, it's redundant with Lin, but here's a guy who's track record says he improves his teams. Lin can ride the bench. I think Howard is unrealistic and DWill is more likely to stay if the rest of this year is a success.

I don't think a mistake prone, false messiah is their answer. He's a kid who had some success in D'antoni's system (and only D'antoni's system) and is sharply coming back to earth. Talented, but a development project, not a hero trotting in on a horse. New York can't have it both ways, do you want to win now (seems like they do) or live in Lin fantasy world? So long to the Baron, Lin to a backup role, Melo headache eliminated, DWill lays the blueprint for future success. Lin could always step in if DWill leaves in the offseason, and that money could go elsewhere.

Coaching change isn't fixing shit, you need to admit failure and change up your core. Now you improve your defense at the point and SF position, as well as add an All-Star talent known for team play that can produce anyway you need him to.

Nets meanwhile weren't getting back Deron unless Howard was heading there in the summer. Which is a possibility, and the only reason I can imagine keeping Deron. Otherwise the dudes bolting. Carmelo wants to be there and is already signed for three years, not a bad piece to hold on to if you're the Nets.

Joe Johnson for Melo would be just wonderful

Anytime you can have half of the 2005 Suns for two max contracts, you have to do it.

This whole thing is such a clusterfuck.

I don't even know what to think. If Melo is the problem, he's gotta be traded - but what can we trade him for? Dwight Howard is pretty much impossible, even if we offered Melo and Chandler to Orlando. Trading Melo also means that we have to be sticking w/D'antoni and a diminished STAT...and I don't think that's the way to go either.

Goddamn, it really *is* as if we're the Mets of the NBA.

*suicides*

JRich is a bit over the hill isn't he?

Also, wtf @ the fact that he is a 55% FT shooter this year

He's having a bit of a down year, but he was putting up 19 a game last year with the Suns. I think he can still play. Contract isn't terrible, either (3 years, 18M).

Also important to consider what the Wolves' other options are now and what their options would be this summer. The rumors have been Crawford, CJ Miles (yuck), and now Richardson. This summer, all the decent wings will be RFAs and not realistically attainable (Courtney Lee, etc).

So if the Wolves could swing a deal for JRich, I would probably do it.

No one played defense on the Suns. Tyson Chandler, Shumpert, and several other players on the Knicks are at the very least good defensive players and maybe even great ones.

Mike did have the best PG for years and was never able to get out of the conference, sorry. Defense wins championships. Mike's teams don't play defense. He doesn't care about defense. He'll never get to the promised land, at least as a head coach. He'd be great as the offensive coach but a head coach? No. Knicks need to blow it up.
