So what is the plan in Miami?

They want to tear it apart completely and rebuild? Why? They had some pieces in place. What now? Reggie Bush will probably want to move on.

Seems more like starting all over just to start all over so the new FO/coach can say its now their team.

Unless of course they are getting Manning or Flynn.

Damn at that Megatron deal.

All that money...I hope it's worth it.

Does this mean he can become Galvatron now? (Or does he have to almost die first?)

No two receivers are worth that money.

Forget Galvatron he would need to become Rodimus Prime at the moment be busts out the Matrix for this to be worth it.

Musgrave likes to run 2 TE sets, and AP has said he doesn't like running behind a fullback. Carlson is 27, and if he can be healthy, he'll pair with Rudolph to be quite the tandem at TE for Ponder.

I'm pretty excited about the signing, I think it could be a good pick up.

Is Shaincoe still with us?

Stupid iPhone, stupid not having espn....

I needs updates!

He essentially talked about winning a championship and the dedication the team/staff has towards that goal. Wants to play in Detroit the rest of his career and how great the fans are. Says they never left (but they sure as hell bandwagoned), even during the tough times. Says he thinks there are a few spot we could shore up, but thats just his opinion. And he looks full of swag on the stage

I still can't believe that the NFL is getting away with docking the Redskins' and Cowboys' cap space:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...sue-nfl-and-nflpa-revised-cba-without-a-vote/

I think this could end very badly for the NFL, it is clearly collusion and they are also violating their internal rules.

Like FMT said, it was the cap dumping. They front loaded all of their contracts in a Cap free year. Kind of a no-no. I don't think they should have been penalized that hard, but whatever. Extra 1.6 million for Detroit

Fellow Bears fans, who do you want with the top pick? Originally I wanted a wide receiver, but the Marshall trade changes this. The offensive line still needs to be upgraded, and Mike Adams would be a good choice! If Carimi is fully healthy from injury the Bears oline could have a great young future core at each tackle position! I don't believe Jonathan Martin will last long enough to fall to them.

A quality DE opposite of Peppers would be great too, and safety help is always a need, but I think fixing the oline first is a more pressing matter to be taken care of!

CJ on not wanting to leave Detroit: Didn't want to leave Matt Stafford.

My man.

Chicago front loaded over $35 mil of Julius Peppers contract into the uncapped year

Chicago did exactly the same thing with Peppers contract and saw no repercussions. Anyway, cap dumping was not illegal during that season and the way that the NFL had gone about enforcing these factions is in violation of their own rules.

kind of like when the 49ers got busted for "tampering" even though every team does it. i didn't see anyone rushing to defend us. tough titties!

Bears front loaded the first two years. They didn't pour it all into one season. Guess the team has a smarter money guy working those contracts!

Feels good to get a couple more million in cap space thanks to the NFC East bungles!

What? looks like Royal is still a FA

Scout.com reports "several" teams are pursuing free agent WR Eddie Royal in addition to the Redskins, including the Ravens.Scout.com reports
Reports of Royal signing a two-year, $12 million deal with the Redskins turned out to be inaccurate, though it appears they are still in the hunt for his services. Royal saw his numbers fall off dramatically after Tim Tebow took over at quarterback for the Broncos last season, but has a history of success both in the slot and on special teams. Mar 13 - 11:01 PM

i wanted the niners to make a play for royal for his PR services but $6 mil a year lololol.

the redskins never learn. they sign mid-tier (at best!) players to high contracts and it never works out for them. then they trade away their draft picks and the fans say "welp, draft picks R overrated anyways! look how horrible our picks have been in the past 10 years!" well news flash: there isn't a problem with building through the draft, there is a problem with the redskins scouting department and organization.

don't matter to me though. keep doin what you do skins!
