Getting nothing is preferable to Brook Lopez.
The Magic will probably get a Top 3 pick the next two seasons regardless so who cares what garbage they get back in a Dwight deal.

Yes - that's why I'm annoyed with the Suns for keeping Nash, in a way. Let's just tank, god dammit. With Nash, we'll ALWAYS be near 500. He's just too good to allow us to tank. But I also don't think it's a good idea to get NOTHING. Getting some good young assets and picks is better than nothing. Not everyone can draft Durant and Westbrook.
Just because you don't care, that doesn't mean the Orlando Magic feel the same way. They want something in return, and getting something is better than getting nothing (in most cases).
If they got brook, they'd have to re-sign him.

You need to shut the fuck up if you don't watch games. Really. Lin does most of his damage when melo isn't in the game because melo loves to clog up the lane, keeping lin from slashing or running the pick and roll in the center of the court. And Melo doesn't give a fuck on defense. Teams run screens involving melo all the time and most of the time someone ends up being open because Melo can't be bothered to move and make the right play. Something that even Novak does. And Amare gets blocked more than any other big man I've seen in a long time.
....and who says they have to trade with the Nets?

If they were going to trade with the Nets. If I were the Magic I'd only trade to a craptastic team for unprotected picks, trade exceptions, that is if I couldn't get LeBron James, Rose, or Durant. Nobody else is worth spending millions and millions of dollars on. Even Bynum, while he is beasting this year, is still a major concern with being able to play 82 games in a season for a number of years.

If the Lakers put Andrew Bynum on the table for Dwight Howard, they should make the deal (if the decided to trade Dwight Howard). Andrew Bynum is not a major concern.

This is his first season without being injured. Yes, it's a major concern. He's a 7'1 guy who has had a host of issues with his knees.
jeremy lin did his damage against below .5 teams.....with melo and stat on the team they probably would have won those games anyway. But since your deluded coach can't see that, your team will be stuck in mediocrity for the rest of the season. Your best bet was to bench lin and play with baron davis and let lin come of the bench with his so called super team. Even tony parker got his bum benched in his first seasons until pap was satisfied he could atleast run an offense without running right into the paint and killing his dribble too early without even knowing what to do followed by a trademarked, throwing the ball up like a hot potato. But, yeah, steve nash.

No. It would be a major concern if he was coming off a serious knee injury, which he is not. What happen to Andrew Bynum when he injured his knee the first two times could happen to Anyone, and it's not because he is an injury prone player. The brace Andrew Bynum is wearing right now will keep him from certain type of knee injuries.
It may be a concern, but it's not a major one.

After the Jazz game every team has been playing Lin the way they play every other scoring pg; trap him and force him to his weak hand. And was still getting into the lane. The difference in Lin's game started when Melo came back, the difference in the entire team started with the return of Melo.
Everyone is trying to appease Melo and work around him to the detriment of the team. When Melo isn't on the floor and Lin is, Lin looks like the player from the streak. When he's playing with Melo he gets passive and doesn't attack. Partly because he wants to work with Melo and because Melo drifts to the elbow like he did in denver and clogs up the lane with himself and his man. And melo can't be assed to work off of Lin when Lin attacks the paint. Melo would get a lot of open looks like other guys get if he was willing to move to spots where Lin or anyone that drives could hit him.
What Melo would rather do is catch the ball and work for a tough pull up jumper. Which he hasn't been hitting all season. He wants a slow, iso offense like Wade and Lebron has, but isn't willing to drive to the basket or play any defense to make it work.

But it didn't happen to anyone, that is the point. Dwight Howard may go down tomorrow, tear his ACL/MCL and Achilles all at once. Bynum DID injure his knee multiple times. He's never played an entire season. So yes, he is injury prone up to this point in his career. Bynum is a huge risk.
I have over 500 posts in nba age since end of last year (sad, lol, but just graduated) I support lakers and vet teams over young teams....I think you asked the same question ages ago and i gave you the same answers. Everyone who follows games closely here knows that. But i digress..........

You're not getting the point. Do you even look at Andrew Bynum's last two Major Knee injures? Do you think Kobe is going to fall to the floor and and have his head land on Andrew Bynum's knee again? Or is Odom going to step on Bynum's foot after a rebound, causing another major knee injury? Like I said before, that could happen to anyone. When you step on basketball floor, anyone can be at risk for a major injury. Chance these two types of injuries happening again are very slim.

Lakers and Dallas have two of the oldest/slowest PGs in the league and didn't prepare for Lin at all, so it was up to Fisher and Kidd to play one on one well enough to contain a guy who was a giant question mark and a whole lot faster than them.
Lin isn't doing well anymore because he was completely unknown and not respected by other teams. They know now that he can only drive with one hand now. He needs to work on his left hand and get better at figuring out when to take a shot going to the hole and when to pass out and reset. He takes lots of dumb point blank shots instead of dishing out.
Bracing may restrict motion in certain planes but no brace will be a catch-all for injury prevention.
The biggest risk factor for injury is history of previous injury. Bynum could be dressed like Tony Stark and that would change the fact that he's at an increased risk to get hurt just from his history alone.

His knees are now weaker than they were before the injuries. Would you argue against this? Bynum weighs a ton. He is a big man with two major knee injuries on his resume. The fact that you seriously are arguing its not a big deal is amazing.

Seems to be doing ok so far but he may never be out of the woods concerning injuries.
If they are keeping dwight (lol at the idea of him staying) anyone who can create a shot is valuable to them even a psycho like Beasley.
Orlando should have just taken the Bynum or Brook+Brooks deal and started rebuilding already.
