Mike Brown east.

don't ask why I already have so many woodson pics ready to go :|

I miss Gallinari a lot. I miss having a guy that talks all about the team and actually shows it on the court.

Stat is a D'Antoni believer. Even though we knicks fans go after him, we know that he tries at least. With D'Antoni gone the writing is on the wall for him too. Starbury 2.0 has been born today.

So this off-season do we get a video of Melo in the park proclaiming our off-season acquisition's?

I await the Vaseline eating webcam phase.

Portland's talks with Minnesota on a Jamal Crawford deal are gathering momentum again, sources tell Y! Sports.

Dammit no. Please take J-Rich.

It's pretty obvious that the two guys they built the Knicks around are actually the problem.

Stoudamire out, Lin helps orchestrate team wins. Stoudamire comes back and things get shaky, but wins keep coming. Anthony returns and the Knicks go to hell in a handbasket.

So yeah, let's fire the coach!

My prediction is that Anthony will play great under Woodson, but Amare will become even less relevant than he currently is.

If Anthony plays great under Woodson and we win, then I'm okay with that - especially if in order to win, STAT was willing to do this:

Stoudemire needs to be willing to do whatever it takes to win, even if it means being part of an epic bench unit. Even if it means not being option 1 on these Knicks. If Earl the Pearl was willing to do it to make the team a winner, STAT can too.

Its going to be funny when D'Antoni gets picked up by a team that has a young, talented pg and leads that team to the playoffs. Real funny.

Lin was a complete mystery and when teams starting watching game film they figured out how to guard him better. But yes, I think Carmelo is the major problem. Amare has regressed big time as well, but I don't think he has attitude problems.

I don't get it. Mike D is doing okay with the roster. Mike D says no bitch, don't give me Melo. They give him Melo. Melo is a selfish piece of shit. Ruins chemistry on O and D.

Solution: Fire MD, what the fuck new york

lol D'Antoni all guy.

Trying to catch up to everything this morning, still.

This mysteriously happened when Carmelo came back.

My favorite D'Antoni-with-the-Knicks moment happened before he ever coached a game. The 2008 Draft Lottery face (after the Bulls got the #1 pick):

(I actually like the guy a lot and think the league is better for having him in it.)

Jesus you guys.

The Knicks werent that good when they were beating shitty teams and they werent that bad when they lost to elite teams. Everybody in this fucking city has a jump to conclusions mat anytime something happens. The team was gonna be fine as it is, but nobody had the balls to see it through.

Mike Woodson loves:

1.) Isolation plays
2.) Godawful substitution patterns
3.) Keeping young players on the bench

Have fun, Knicks fans!

Amare's defense is a huge issue. He doesn't rebound well and guys blow right by him. He's too much of a liability on the defensive end.

I'll be honest, ever since his rise in Phoenix, the one thing that comes out in every interview is he doesn't seem too intelligent. That seems to be holding him back now that he's aging because he can't rely on physical ability alone to be a dominant player. This is where guys like Elton Brand are far more desirable as they age. They can steal balls, play defense and use their brains to make good plays as well as put in some jumpers, draw fouls and smartly use all six of theirs.

if you're such a debby downer, why even respond by belittling those that respond to rumours.
dont be a dick and allow those that want to speculate on said rumours. will you give us that, oh wise one?
but your mama, you have to always feel like your superior.

It's not a reasonable trade whatsoever and Otis will be facing a lynch mob if that deal goes through. The only way he should do a trade with the Lakers is if he gets Bynum, young talent, a draft pick or two, and they'd have to take on Turk's contract. The Magic taking on Fisher and Artest would be the dumbest fucking thing ever.

Lakers don't have much young talent and aren't willing to give more than 1 pick. Magic are in a vulnerable place right now.

Nets are hoping nothing happens so they don't have to give up Lopez, Brooks or picks.

They only have one known trade partner and are in no position to demand anything.

I would let Howard expire before being fucked over by the Lakers. I feel for sure Magic fans would agree with me.
