Well, Crawford is 32 and JRich 31, and other things equal, I'd rather have Richardson, who I think is the better shooter and defender (not that either play a lot of it). Contracts factor in, too. The fact that Crawford can (will) opt out this summer makes him less appetizing to me. Because fuck cap space. The Wolves are not going to find a better use of it than Richardson.

If melo can't score for one of the best offensive coach in the league then that's his problem.

J-Rich needs a point guard to get him the ball in the spots he likes. I think Minny might have one.
 
Knicks need a decent back-up center so Stat never plays center again for the rest of his career, since you might not be able to trade Stat.

Also, play Lin off the bench and let Baron start and let Melo/Stat/Chandler lobs in the first quarter for offense.

Could be. He'll get open looks in this offense. I trust him to knock them down on a more consistent basis than what the Wolves currently throw out (and Crawford, too, for that matter).

And I think it's totally crazy that there are Wolves fan who think 3 years, $18M for Richardson is some kind of albatross. He's not 35, he can still play.
 
Wow, D'antoni quit. Fucking hell, this team is imploding. Can't say I'll miss D'antoni though, but now it's Mike fucking Woodson at the helm. Well, Maybe Mike will actually try and make some major adjustments in an attempt to win the job permanently and it'll all work out? *crosses fingers*

Baron will probably look to get Melo and Amare more involved( the offense looked good with Baron in with those guys), and Lin's drive and kick style may work better with the second unit, considering he'll be coming in with some shooters to stretch the floor. It's sucks, because Lin's play hasn't warranted a benching, but it makes some sense at least.

Then let him just walk when it comes time. He'll get hell from everyone lol. Don't do him the favour of saying "welp I wanted to stay... they traded me".

They just aren't going to get anything worthwhile. Besides picks, the Nets have nothing worthwhile. And I don't see Nets offering their picks since they know Howard will sign with them. Its too late to start tanking this season so I think its best to just let him walk and start over fresh next season, instead of with a bunch of shitty contracts or mediocre players.

Mike is a piece of shit coach. All Mike does is ISO plays. Thats it. Go watch some Atlanta Hawk games of past. Thats all he does. Give the ball to one of the star players, makes them run iso plays. He is awful.
