And the explanation will undoubtedly be that Joker swooped in to rescue them and leave Shep for dead like the audio files left indicate (where Joker coming in on the Normandy and shooting at Harby was cut out because of course, we don't want to see cool shit like that).

I want to see what happens when a spaceship swoops down and grabs people, without slowing down.

I think it would be messy.

So Tricia Helfer is playing Six playing EDI and Shepard is actually Starbuck?
The Synthesis ending is the right ending according to
BSG
.

Synthesis!

Not having ever played, nor will I ever likely play, can someone give me a run down on what happens in DA2 that makes it so reviled?

I'd say yes, being stranded on the frozen planet of Noveria is way sadder than being let down by a video game ending
But Noveria has that cool music and sky box.

Just head down to the DA2 spoiler thread?

Basically pink explosions. Random terrorist plot. Your choice doesn't matter because, well you're nobody.

Speaking of DA2, where was I supposed to meet that pirate woman? I played through the game thinking "Shouldn't I meet the pirate woman soon?" and then the game was over. Also think I missed some elf named Fenris or something, but that may have been a DLC character.

Pretty sure that you can miss Isabella and her curved body. Which is a shame.

As for Fenris, he can burn in hell.

More tweets from the liar at Bioware!

User 1 -Well, i think i'll stop naggin you and trying to get you to talk about the indoctrination theory. :( Good game though!
Merizan - I want people to make up their own minds right now, then when more people have played we'll talk :)

User 2 - then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.
Merizan - augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now :P

User 3 - But should've confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.
Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?
BELIEVE GUYS

I really liked a lot of DA2's world and story and where it left things for DA3, my main problem is all the stuff that clearly comes from it being a rush job. They blatantly reuse dungeons in other areas and try to make the layout different by just sealing a door and opening a new one. You can literally see the outline of where the door used to be in the other dungeon. Also, you visit the same handful of locations the entire game.

The good BioWare characters and writing is, mostly, still there, but the game was just not ready. Combat encounters were really poorly done as well. In DAO you could see a group of enemies and tactically plan a strategy, not possible in DA2 as enemies will just randomly spawn out of nowhere. Overall, I'm still positive on the game but it has some huge flaws. I honestly don't see BioWare making the same mistakes with DA3 after the shit they got with 2.

Somebody get me a hi-res version of that stat. Space Jesus demands it.
These are the best I had.

Bar?

Bottom right.

That is a shrub/tuft of grass aggressively blowing in the wind/force from the energy beam. You can look around and see a few of them.

The Turian Councillor who takes over if you killed them in ME1 is actually a non douchebag. It's a shame all the councilors were dickheads if you save them.
