I really like Butler sure his jumper looks bad but he knocked down his FT attempts and plays well on defense. I'm hoping he can become a staple in the rotation and play more than once every few weeks.

His jumper is FLAT but he was a solid shooter in college and that will come along.

He doesn't have the numbers to show for but I thought he played really well tonight because he wasn't as passive offensively as he was earlier in the season.

Dude was ready to defend in the NBA day 1.

I think it is just a matter of being confident for Butler and he looked pretty damn confident tonight, moreso then usual. I thought he played great D tonight against Miami, it is why he was being substituted onto D late in the game.

A B2B is some thing everybody has to deal with but its far from a simple cop out.

I agree with your principle, but I find it weird the other Heat role players looked so shitty when the team rolled through the B2B2B on the road. But whatever, it's just a god damn regular season game

Some funny quotes in there, in particular the bolded one

No.

They need scoring off the bench. MWP is not a scorer.

Come on, guys. It's not hard. Why would Beasley start? He's a ball stopping scorer; how does that fit with kobe + Pau + bynum lineups?

And have Fish run the bench unit?

So bad.

Ramon off the bench but plays 32 mpg.

Glock can run the bench mob with Beas, Fish needs to sit.

Its hard to put together a package that would appease The Celts without touching the starting 5.

Yeah, the Celtics are going to milk those aging players because they still can play and they have that pedigree.

As should they I guess but I am sure even for guys like Ray and Garnett, they are going to try to get maybe too much.

You don't think Taj can be a starter on this team as that 4??? Maybe not bulky enough???

And I meant specifically, who should they try to get as a shooting guard???

I don't play trade machine like srz binez like other people. All I know is Boozer fucking sucks, that offense stalls out like the ghost of Skiles still haunts the building, and everyone other than Rose runs from the ball when it gets tight.

For an expiring Ray Allen? Besides, who from the starting 5 could they reasonably expect for an expiring Ray?

EDIT: Korver/Watson/Asik for Ray. Watson is a team option next year.

Ainge would probably want something closer to Asik/Korver/Brewer/Lucas or Lucas/Asik/Korver and a pick

OMG Blake airballed back to back freethrows.

Hell no.

People can't let this game change their idea of Lucas. He's too inconsistent.

He's played big for the Bulls this year, you have to admit.

Not sure if anyone knew he was a legit NBA player but there is a reason Thibs liked him throughout his career.

I don't think serious fans think he's the answer but he's a decent sub to get real minutes if the time calls for it.

That isolation on LeBron was the play of the game for me, it was a big shot when it was really needed.

He's a decent backup to CJ Watson. Lucas is too trigger happy, which only works when he's hot. I like Mike James more, because he works well with the bigs. To me, the key in a 7 game series is consistency, which Lucas doesn't have.

I actually like James slightly more than Cj and John Lucas.

Crazy, I know, but I like his ball security.

He might be a mix between Lucas and Cj.

Seeing Humphries put up big numbers is weird. I liked it better when he was a scrub, because it was more amusing when Kim Kardashian was married to a scrub out of all the NBA players she could have chosen.
