Rockets better cut/buy out Fisher and end it at that.

I have it on good word that the Spurs were after McGee and the Suns wanted Nick Young. This was 2 days ago tho.

I was just asking in the chat why Denver traded Nene after giving him $67mil, and Berger right on cue:

League source says Nuggets had experienced some "buyer's remorse" after signing often-injured Nene to a five-year, $67M deal in Dec. '11.

Wizards swapped a couple bad players for one good one. What's the problem?

I just don't like Nene's contract. Definitely after people are saying because of his injuries...

Would you prefer all of Nene's money to go to JaVale?

Wasn't McGee seeking like $14 M annual in the off-season? Denver done fucked up so hard.

He was seeking that, but I don't know if we would've given it to him. I hope not...but now we have Nene, but on NBATV, we also got Brian Cook, and a second round pick.

I feel bad for two people today

1) Derek Fisher

2) George Karl

If he wasn't such a passive man, he'd probably be throwing F Bombs and chairs and shit all over the place

When Nene's healthy, he's easily a Top 10, arguably Top 5 center in the league.

That, and he doesn't suffer from severe symptoms of mental retardation and not understanding the basic concepts of playing basketball.

I haven't a fucking clue but it doesn't look like it was at this deadline. Unless you wanted to get fleeced.

99% of those twitter rumors are bullshit, as well

Whatever, man.

Continuing to buy into flexibility and the unknown is dumb. And shame on the Wolves for pushing it when this team has enough parts good enough to win now. Known quantities, this team needs them. Not draft picks. Not cap space it won't use properly.

Do you honestly think Karl doesn't have a say on what players he wants on his team? SMH. And if you think Karl can't handle head cases, look at JR Smith/Melo/AI. The nuggets are trynna run their opponents to the ground. They couldn't do that with Nene.

No hate on the Nuggets for moving Nene. He mad 13/year and was their third best player. He wouldn't get them over the hump, wouldn't win a series for them, and was being paid like a gamechanger.

And if anyone can fix McGee's retarded mind, it's SuperCoach George Karl.

Going from Nene to one season of McGee is a downgrade no matter how you look at it. They get cap space, but which free agent is going to Denver? Ain't no way in hell they sign anyone as good as Nene with the money they just saved.

Edit: Kobe probably cancelled on the interview because he's too pissed to let his true sentiments be known

I was in class for a few hours and all this craziness hit at once. Goodbye Mr. 0.4. 5 rings and 10+ years. All shittalk aside this season, im gonna miss da fish.

Weird seeing Fish in another uniform other than the gold and purple. Dude, should just retire already. I've always enjoyed him over the years, though.

I'm just assuming there weren't any trades out there that didn't fuck us. What do we have that is of value that we can trade? Pretty much Beas unless you want to let Williams go. And I'm guessing Beas doesn't have much value.

Scott Howard Cooper said:
Lakers-Rockets deal only after trade fell apart late that would have sent Fisher,Jamaal Crawford to Minn, Beasley to L.A., Dallas 1 to Port.

Dammit.

Yeah, it's not like he's ever played with another team before.

They let him walk 8 years ago. So just get over it already.

Been too caught up in Dwightrama. But is Golden State any better off? Bogut possibly be healthy next season? Wasn't too long ago people were thinking he might be the (distant) 2nd best center around?
