2012 NBA Mar |OT| Knicks fans now drinking JD in straight shots

I saw Griffin airball a FT, then miss a FT that fell extremely short barely grazing the front of the rim. They were up by like 8 so I figured they'd win.

LOL.

Clippers really are just the Clippers.

If god himself played on the clippers, he still can't change the name on the front. They will never amount to anything in our lifetime. It has been this way since I can remember. I don't care who they get.........a .500 Laker team will still own this town more than a .720 Clipper team.

So what happened to the Clips yesterday? I just heard that Mo Williams got into a fist fight with VDN and that they also held a players' only meeting.

Pretty embarrassing to lose to nash-less suns though.

Says I, the Lakers fan whose team lost to the Pistons and Wizards.

Yea, but no one has punched out Mike Brown
yet
.

I didn't see the game, but it's not hard to imagine some of their issues boiling over. The coach is going to be the scapegoat in the end, sure, but the actual issues remain.

Magic? That's really about it. Maybe Jennings and Ellis drop 140 a game and somehow outscore them but i don't see that happening.

I would love, love, love to see Dwight embarrass the heatles and then have Dwight preach about loyalty.

The 76ers concern me.

I know that may sound funny but they have some good shooters and they defend.

Not too concerned about the Magic but they can be formidable as well.

The Bulls usually can defend the threepoint shot though.

Too bad you save that until after we destroyed your team and forced the rebuild to start.

Says the fan of a team that's out of the playoff race in the fucking east. Blazers did what Knicks didn't have the balls to do.

Ugh, job op in SF didn't pan out.

That would be fine except that I'm moving to SF regardless

Shitty day :|

Oh yeah, OT, lol, sorry.

That sucks, what happened in NY?

Listen to how he talks about any player that isn't black or most of the coaches. Dude is racist.

I don't think he's racist, he's just....the way he is.
There really aren't a lot of white guys to talk about in the NBA though. When it comes to football, he gives his due respect regardless of color.

I think Mike Brown would praise whoever punches him for having "passion."

That's all I hear about him. He praises everyone. DAMMIT! YELL AT PLAYERS IF THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB.

He's a racist black conservative?

He hates on Kwame Brown harder than I've ever seen someone hated on before and that dudes black as fuck.

He also praised Pau Gasol in the same video. "Kobe should not be saying a WORD"

Nothing bad, its just that my wife got a pretty sweet gig in SF, so making the move is worth it.

I'm still at Gameloft in NY till my lease ends in May, then I'll go over ... but I'd like to go with a job, you know?

Ah I got you, well that's nice for her. Sure you'll get stuff too.

Lately I've been missing NY a lot but I think has more to do with the post-graduate feeling of "god damn it I miss college"---I was at SMU a few weeks ago and I had this rush of strange nostalgia even though I haven't been out of school for a full year. It made me want to apply for a doctoral degree and then I remembered I'm still in debt for my masters

Have fun this weekend though with all the St. Patties day douches that invade NYC. Seriously it's like the worst time of the year there

Yea, the Knicks can't really say anything about any team. Blown money on two ball-hogs, fired Coach No D for Coach Iso (who will bury your best guard on the bench), and still can't make the playoffs in the Least. After years of irrelevance, your reward is mediocrity.

Blazers? Yea, they should've picked Durant, and it's the second time they crapped out on Superstar Roulette, but at least they know when it's time to blow it up and start over.

Now, about Batum...

Let Hunter have his moment

He doesn't get to have many. I think his last good moment was posting workout pictures of Melo and Stat and claiming the Knicks were arriving LOL

Who's got a better future? Blazers or Knicks? If anyone says the Knicks... lol.

Hands off motherfuckers.

Bulls are finished. Even if they get to the ECF, they have no chance.

And no, I'm not Branduiling it here. I really believe the Bulls have no chance against the Heat.

and I don't think the Heat have any chance against this young hungry Bulls team who will dominate the boards and shoot 50% from three

I am going to out-jinx you!

no but seriously, in the east I think the Bulls and Magic could take the Heat, yeah I do think the Heat are favored and I'd expect them to win, but it's the playoffs and anything can happen

As we've learned for the past 3 god damn years

I think the NBA would be a hell of a lot more interesting if you couldn't protect picks.

If a contending team trades what they expect will be around the #25 pick, and then their superstar goes down for the season and that pick ends up being the #1 overall, that should just be part of the game.

Fuck is this a joke? Anything can happen? Get that NBA marketing crap out of here. Bulls have NO CHANCE IN HELL.

Uh.........I take it that you watched the NBA Finals last year right!?

Cleveland looked like the best team in '09 and in '10. Shit, they even nearly knocked off the defending champs in '08...and never came through.

And the common theme is that LeBron is on all those teams. I hate to say it being a Heat fan, but you just can't ignore facts.

... so you do admit the Heatles were favorites. Bravo.

I'm talking ECF here. I don't know how LeBron is going to be in the Finals, but ECF? Dude's a beast.

When the Heat lose games, they seem to lose them in bunches. Especially against good competition (I'm not talking about losing to Chicago one night and then pounding Sacramento the next) it's a really bizarre thing about this team but it's a trend. if you get homecourt and you frustrate the heat like hell in the first two games and throw them off, even if it's 1-1 or whatever, anything can happen

Except I never claimed they were an underdog of any sort.

Please just stop posting forever

http://www.theonion.com/articles/pathetic-bobcats-owner-again-regaling-players-with,27572/

CHARLOTTE, NC—To the exasperation of his struggling team, the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats has been hanging around the locker room once again this week, telling any and all who will listen about his glory days in the league. "Can't he let it go? Just go play golf and ride your motorcycles or whatever," said Bobcats guard Kemba Walker, leaving hastily upon seeing the smiling owner enter the room wearing an outdated, closely cropped mustache. "What am I supposed to do with all these stories? One time he said he made a shot in the playoffs that was so good, they just called it 'the Shot.' That doesn't even make sense." Walker added that the owner seems to see his time in the league as "some kind of golden era of the NBA" and that "to hear him tell it, he's like the greatest player of all time."

I'm dying.
