Come on. I love Tebow and everyone here knows that sans Manning I was looking forward to Tebow improving and seeing if he could do it. Last year it was easy to see that the thing missing was a QB with consistency. If it was anybody other than Tebow it would be viewed in a different light. Manning is an upgrade plain and simple. If Sanchez got replaced by Rodgers for instance would we hear the same synpathy? Not likely. I wish nothing but the best for Tebow, but this is a huge upgrade at the most important position. Good job Elway.
I don't get why he went to Denver as opposed to San Fran. If the 9ers had a QB like him at the helm last year they would have made the SB. Great defense, great Oline, good HC, stud TE, great RB. Denver has an amazing pass rush and an underrated defense but they lack the offensive pieces you would think someone in Peyton's situation would want. Why spend your last years not making the playoffs when you could go to a team and take them to the SB?

He didn't go to San Fran because they have a head coach who is intimately involved in the offense. He didn't want to butt heads. Denver is the absolute perfect fit.

Bryan Hoyer for Tebow straight up. That gives Denver the perfect back-up and Elway finally has to stop with acting like he likes Tebow.
Tebow will bring the help from God to the Pats and insurance for when Brady retires and if Mallett gets injured. Plus the Tebow-Hernandez combo won a championship before.
