Have you tried Old Speckled Hen? That is a pale ale and is rather nice.
I've heard the name - might look into it. Thanks for the tip.

In movies, what is the term used to describe music which is playing within the movie? For example, during the opening credits AC/DC's "Back in Black" is playing as the camera pans over landscapes, characters, etc. However, the next scene shows how the music is originating from a boom box a character is listening to.
What is this called?
Diegetic is probably the closest word. In your example it is something we (the audience) think is non-diegetic becoming diegetic. I don't know if there is a more specific or even slang word for it in the industry. In movies, what is the term used to describe music which is playing within the movie? It's a pale ale (or 'Bitter' as it's called over here). I like it.
What are some of the better British beers (doesn't matter what kind)
What beer(s) do most British people drink .. regardless of where it comes from.
Thanks Barnaby. Great av btw. I had a Hunter av before Karl. :b
And I'm not British. I'm just curious about what people drink over there. I used to drink Milwaukee's Best Light but now that I'm getting older and have more money I drink Blue Moon, JW Dundees Honey Brown Lager, Black and Tan, Newcastle. If I had a lot of money to blow though I'd get Corsendonk Abbey or Delerium Tremons. I know its not British but I figured I'd let you know what my tastes are.
Is there a way to have PayPal put money on to your debit/credit card?
So my shitty laptop has gotten so shitty lately that it overheats whenever I A) Try to play video full screen, B) Try to play any type of high res video whatsoever, or B) play ANY PC game, even those that are 2D and/or ~20 years old. It also sounds like a jet engine taking off when it's idling most times.
What is fucked up about it, what can I do to fix it or keep it cool on the cheap?
Well, you can transfer money from PayPal to your bank account and do it from there.
Can you have paypal do it automatically? Also, when it transfers to your card is there a fee?
You need to clean the fans. They're full of dust.
Edit: I'd recommend doing it with canned air. Be extremely careful and meticulous when you disassemble the laptop (I know it can be a bitch). Touch a radiator before touching stuff on the mainboard.
I've never opened up a laptop before. I'm scared, but I will do my best!

You realize debit and credit cards are two different kinds of cards, right?
Debit cards are linked directly to your bank account. Thus, if Paypal transfers the money into your bank account, it's available on your debit card.
Great post!
Put sticking tape onto the disassembling table, with the sticky side up. That's where you put the screws. You won't lose them that way. Also, it's an easy way to track the order of screws.
I'm planning on building a little computer to put next to the TV to rip all my DVDs etc to and run XBMC (I'm presuming, based on what I've been able to find out) on.That's an HTPC right? I'm trying to find guides for what sort of stuff to build it with as I've never done it before and drawing a blank. I have about 200+ DVDs that I never watch because they're sitting in wallets and would like to consolidate all that into one machine, possibly blu-rays too if that's an option. Apologies if there's a thread for this sort of question, but the only one I could find via search was mostly about the actual "theatre" set up rather than building the HTPC itself.

This thread:

is closest to what you are looking for from what I am familiar with here.
Unless someone suggests a better alternative I would suggest asking in there.
Check this topic on the XBMC-forums out.

How do you see individual user post counts for individual threads?
Any ways to straighten hair without one of those iron things? Like a certain way of combing it or drying? My hair isn't curly it's just wavyish but it's still somewhat annoying when trying to manage.
I just got an Apple TV and want to add all my video files into iTunes. An app called iFlicks converts them into the right format, adds all the metatags and adds them to iTunes. Is there any reason not to convert my entire video library? Should I use a different program?
It depends on how resistant your hair is to being straightened. You might just be able to blow it out with a hair dryer i.e. dry from the root to the tip as you brush from the root to the tip. If that's not enough, you need a relaxer.Any ways to straighten hair without one of those iron things? Like a certain way of combing it or drying? Thanks for your input. Now I'm just even more confused and frustrated. My Hotmail is fine.
whenever I log out and return to the fourms, im still logged in. Is there a way to permanently log me out?
Edit2: I fixed it!*
*Somehow I had to do this: go to this link: https://login.live.com
Then it's like, just viewing my account information since I was already logged in. I clicked on "Hotmail" on that page and it provided me an option to use https. I thought, whatever, I just clicked on "Continue to Hotmail" instead of "Always use https". Anyway, that prompted FireFox with a certificate warning. I added the exception to FireFox, now I can suddenly view stuff again.
Yeah, no clue what changed during the short nap I had, but this at least fixed everything. I thought this was a different kind of hotmail page, but my previous bookmarked hotmail URL is what's working now and I believe that was always a https (secure) page in the first place.
I don't think Harley Quinn has ever been in anything live action.
