I hate how Taiki and Shoutmon are shooed away at the last minute. It should be him mingling with the older heroes, not fucking Tagiru!

Tagiru was a pointless main who inevitably will be pushed to the top. You cant have him do anything worthy to call himself a hero (like saving the digiworld at least once), in a mere 25 episodes to make him equal to the other goggle heads or even the main cast from the other series.

They should have just left him out, introduce Tai and Marcus to Taiki in episode 4 and from their progressively bring in Davis, Takato, Frontier dude, and then secondary heroes like Matt, Ken, Rika etc. WHILE fleshing out what's up with this digiquartz problem and the big bad creating it.

It would have been awesome if they had made the 25 eps part tournament and part mystery where heroes team up and explore the digiquartz and train/battle against each other to see who's worthy to obtain the power to defeat the big bad.

They could only do so much in the last two episodes unfortunately, but we do see all the strongest digivolutions from their respective verses, Omnimon, Gallantamon CM etc.

Agreed, it's such a travesty really - Taiki and Shoutmon did all these awesome things yet somehow they're pushed away, and used the whole span of this season to expand the troubles in DigiQuartz.

Though I guess they did admit on padding it until Saint Seiya returns.
 
It was written on the wall since this season started we should have seen this one coming and yet I can't bring myself to accept the fact that Taiki was treated just like that because the writers are trying so fucking hard to shove Tagiru down our throats.
 
Subs are out. I love how they acknowledge Taichi and Daisuke being on "the same universe" but on "different timeline", though I find it weird Taiki knows that.

Oh god you know what's insulting? Tagiru fucking wears Taiki's goggles.

Honestly they could've easily introduced/make a star in a better form. I mean they've had many season of the show when it was done right.

I'm still thinking that maybe Taiki was too great a lead general...eh later.
 
Ok seeing Zenjiro spaz at everyone digivoling in different ways was awesome. I mean everyone is all like yo, this kid becomes a digimon! Hey, this kid is merging with his digimon! Wha?! These digimon jogressed?!
 
Really great thread.

I do not have a lot to contribute, since I stopped watching after the first two groups or seasons, or what have you.

I liked the movie also, and all of the Murakami-esque animations.

Well they kept the evolution system intact so it was impossible for Takuya to go KaiserGreymon by himself.

Holy Deus batman! It really felt like they should have just named this The Tagiru Show because this truly felt like a one man show despite what Taiki said in the end after the fight like how it was all everyone blah blah blah. Now it was Tagiru's time to surpass him? Sorry Taiki you've been surpassed in screentime and power when Tagiru's been the one doing the final blow to clean up the mess for you.

Yeah um... I stand by this 100% Xros Wars season 1 was far superior than this in the end.

Next series has work to do major to top Taiki.
 
The last few episodes did make me change my opinion about Time Hunters and how some of the old episodes ended up actually making sense, but I still prefer Xros Wars original and Death Generals.
 
Yeah shame. They could've just added one episode after the Bagramon fight for an extended epilogue.
 
As a kid this was on every morning.

I don't remember much. I do remember they all walked into a building and then ate all the food and slept in all the beds in their underwear. Then the beds started floating and flew away. They were all screaming with no clothes on and the episode ended. After that I stopped watching.


Recently I checked a youtube video of the super mega newest digimon. Some kid punched a charmander in the face. Man, kids shows are so violent these days.
 
Digimon: Xros Wars, the first series, is coming in Italy. Starting from December, the series will make its first appearance on Rai2 since...Frontier.
