I'm sure the hunger games movie is garbage bullshit for the pre-teen and post box of donuts female crowd but the Neko Case song on the soundtrack is pretty decent.

Also, I had to drive through Holton this morning to see a client. It's one of the "towns" (there are like two dozen houses in a couple square miles) that suffered deaths in the recent tornadoes. God damn. I've driven through larger, actual towns hit by tornadoes but never just a little pocket community like that. Fucking leveled. Just about no cleanup from what I could see. This is what, a month later.

Mother nature is a real cunt.

Greg Cossell feels RG has the edge on Luck, his write up is pretty good, wish it were longer.

Only thing I disagreed with was the comment on pocket awareness. When Luck looks to get out he moves forward, RG drifts backwards and tries to get around the tackles. I'd rather have RG step up than around. Newton has better vision than both when he has to pull down and run, guy turns into a back, unreal talent in that dept.

I've been slamming Luck's deep ball since last year, it's pretty shitty, but then again so is that offense. Pathetically, I sat and charted the Orange Bowl game, two thirds of the calls had two tight ends. Archaic system is probably the culprit more than his arm, needs reps throwing deeper stuff.

Edit: write up

You read something like this and wonder why more people aren't questioning why the Colts aren't looking at RG III more.

I really want to buy a bike. It's fun just riding around places.

I don't know why but I find it calming.

Just bought myself and the wife some bikes from Walmart on clearance:

Damn...I'm so impressed with the Niners FO. Being able to sign Manningham for that kind of deal is ridunkulous value.

Balke has been so good for us, and our financial negotiator, Parage Maathe (sp?) deserves a lot of credit as well. We haven't really overpaid anyone save for Smith, but its a QB market so that's understandable.

The fact that we may turn into a place where FA's want to play is just icing on the cake.

My grandpa lives 1 mile from where a tornado touch downed about 2 years ago.

Destroyed the surrounding houses and high school - it was a crazy sight to see.

Very grateful he was in Florida at the time.

I lived in Illinois for a few years when I was a kid. One day after I got out of school and approached my house, I noticed the house across the street was missing. I will never forget that sight and the shock, having just seen it fully intact that morning.

Denver has more new tight ends than Boystown in the summer.
