But yeah she dived then flipped out i imagine she had been awaiting payback for an earlier foul.

I remember when I was 17 or so I was playing and this big lumbering 50 year old was marking me, I had the beating of him every time but one time for no apparent reason I caught him on the ankle in a fit of petulance after losing the ball, I scored a few minutes later and he remarked that it was two nil to me. About 80 minutes into the game we were going for a 50/50 and he let me slide in then jumped into the air and came down onto me with both feet before saying '2 all'

Anyway we shook hands at full time and I learned not to be a little cunt on the pitch that day.

I'm a black and educated, going to Law School to be a prosecutor. I'm not an asshole and I'm very open to learning new things.

My point is that your post can be taken as an implication that black people frequently and irrationally cite racism as a cause of violence and discrimination, but that white people don't stoop so low and the ones that do are called racist themselves.

I guess you might not have meant to make that implication, but it's helping contribute to that sentiment, which I find is bullshit and leads to a persecution complex in white people, who've had nothing but the benefit of laws, enforcement, society, customs, educational systems, and anything else you can think of since the dawn of fucking time itself.

EDIT: Also, it seems like you're a liar.

Didn't look like she "dove" to me, looked like there was contact(even if minimal) that caused her to fall.

Nothing reasonable suggests she at that advantage would take a dive and then beat up the girl that didn't touch her.

Her reaction to being tripped/clipped wasn't reasonable at all of course.

It's not a random attack. That's what's so smh about all these posts in here.

1. The two schools HATE each other
2. It's soccer
3. The girl was tripped, and obviously felt she needed to get revenge.

There's nothing racial about it from the video. If the roles were reversed there still wouldn't be anything racial about it. We see people retaliate and go overboard in soccer ALL the time. Now if the girl randomly, without any known sort of provocation started beating on the other girl, then race may have something to do with it. But this is a clear case of: you hit me, I'm going to make you pay.
 
Holy fuck just because one confrontation between people of two different ethnicities might have some 'racism' roots doesn't mean EVERY single one should. Goddamn, if the white girl tackled the black girl, would be the exact same thing - two girls getting pissed at each other in a soccer game.

I refereed soccer in high school and saw some stuff like this. I once had a parent storm the field, get right in my face and shout at me. I just laughed because it was U10s (9 year olds) playing, so he shoved me.

Our soccer/referee union completely ruined him. Hundreds of dollars in fines and bans from the league for both him and his daughter for I think two years. Especially funny because it was the second week of games and the league requires basically $400 to play in it. Whoops!

I loved being a referee. I might just get re-certified this summer and ref a few weekends.

I couldn't help but try to figure out why he would lie about such a thing, but It looks like Mike is mixed.... not to derail... Not sure if the ban had to do with the lie..

This thread has already sunk to disgraceful levels with people being apologists ("I bet she said a racial slur" is really just as misguided the "Treyvon is a thug" defense force), the false equivalency ("where is the CNN spotlight and President Obama?" is a pretty dumb thing to say, no one is dead or seriously injured), and others throwing out "racist!" and "reverse racist!" while diluting the meaning of both terms.

If some white guy had punched Bruce Bowen in the throat during a game, I would have said he had it coming. And I'm black. Of course, that assessment requires context.

Fact - a ridiculously salty soccer player took a questionable call personally and ruined the game for everyone else. She deserves any punishment handed down by the league and the law. If her actions were racially, sexually, or religiously motivated, that will come out if anyone bothers to follow this story.

His comment was still beyond stupid. No one would say shit about racism if it was the other way around. No one. It's just girls fighting, there's nothing racial about it. This isn't even remotely comparable to something like the Trayvon Martin shooting or even the shooting of that 68 year old man. It was a ridiculously stupid comment to make.

And he's a Nigerian brother too? For shame.
