#Wrestlemania 28 |OT| WWE is having another Big Show

Not open for further replies.
John Cena vs The Rock (Cena comes out to thuganomics, takes out Rock with a chair while the ref is out cold. Heel turn!)

Undertaker vs Triple H (HBK inadvertently screws Hunter out of the win)

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho (Jericho has paid off CM Punk's relatives to interfere, equipped with beer in tow.)

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan (wins by throwing AJ in front of a brogue kick and gets her killed again)

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy (Miz gets the pin)

Cody Rhodes vs Big Show (because this doesn't make any sense)

Kane vs Randy Orton

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs Eve and Beth Phoenix

Having Taker not get a clean decisive win here after HHH essentially made winning last years meaningless would be the stupidest thing that the E could do.

Jericho is not going to pull a Vince McMahon.

Might as well get my picks in before I leave to meet up with my cousin, whom I'm watching WM with later tonight.

John Cena vs. The Rock - Seems like this is where they're headed. I await shenanigans.

Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ special guest referee Shawn Michaels - Zero fucking chance Taker loses this.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship - I understand why people would think Jericho winning makes sense for this storyline/feud, and if they continue with it, I could see Jericho definitely winning. But really, I just don't think they'd have both titles switch, and here's no reason a guy of Punk's current stature should be losing his title.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship - No! No! No! I enjoyed it while it lasted. =(

Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz) vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder) - Seems like the right choice, but who the fuck knows with this company. =\

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship - Should be the obvious payoff.

Kane vs. Randy Orton - But really, who gives a shit.

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs. Eve and Beth Phoenix - Ditto...

Pre-Show Match: Primo & Epico vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag-Team Championships (streaming live on Youtube at 6:30pm ET) - Damn it, we will not be denied future Rosa booty-shaking!

Anyone that truly loves WrassleGAF should not be splurging that kind of dough on tonight's PPV.
However, if your intent is to cause WrassleGAF pain and suffering... then, personally, I can't think of a better way to do it.

I truly, truly love WrassleGAF and enjoy it more than the actual shows 99% of the time.

Here's hoping for a WrassleGAF liveblog to end all liveblogs, complete with mental breakdowns when Cena overcomes the odds again.

To this day, that theme sometimes pops in my head out of nowhere, even when I haven't thought about wrestling for a while. It's the #1 Wrestlemania theme for sure.

2 Heel Champs? i don't think that will happen, if Punk loses, Sheamus is winning...

WM29 is booked.

Q: Finally, now that you are in management, any chance you can sign Ultimate Warrior to a one-day contract for a future WrestleMania and then squash him in the ring?

It’s funny, a lot of people bring that up in a negative way like it was this terrible thing in my life. While working with him personally wasn’t the highlight of my life from a business standpoint, for me to go to me first WrestleMania and wrestle a legendary figure in the business -- and that is what he was and is -- like the Ultimate Warrior, a Hall of Fame superstar in the business in my first WrestleMania appearance, squash or not, was a mind blowing thing for me. I was thrilled to be in that position and to have that match with the Ultimate Warrior. I was thrilled with the fact that at that time Vince McMahon was willing to put me in that role. The Ultimate Warrior wasn’t there till the day of the show, so I had to do all the promotion for that match. I wanted Vince McMahon to look at me as a guy he could count on to handle the return of a guy that he was hoping would be a huge impact on the business. He had the trust in me and I would do a good job with it. So to me, that was nothing but a good experience. Potentially, I could bring him back and get the win.

Seth Mates, who worked with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a creative writer for WWE in the build-up to his 2002 match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, finds it odd that some wrestlers are resentful of his return to the organization.

“The resentment towards Rock always struck me as a little bit funny,” he tells the Pro Wrestling Torch. “Because the thing about Rock is that people like are jealous of Rock not for stealing the spot but for being one of the guys who got out. You know he made it. He made it in a big way. He made a ton of money. And then he had an exit plan. And now he can come back and work when he wants. And it’s not like Rock is coming back and working with a guy who – he’s coming back to help make John Cena bigger than Cena ever was. He’s coming back to work with a guy who works house shows and who works Raw. You know. He’s coming back and he’s bringing mainstream attention. I can’t speak to the locker room leader this and whatever. I just know that wrestlers like to talk, wrestlers like to stir the pot, wrestlers like to cause trouble. Not a knock on them. Everybody does in every profession. You know every job I’ve ever had people talk you know what about other people in the room. Rock’s not stealing anybody’s spot. Rock is bringing a lot of eyeballs.”

Mates believes Triple H’s jealousy of Johnson (based around his success in wrestling and in Hollywood after he left) is the driving force behind much of the negativity.

“I know that a lot of the stuff that Cena has said about Rock and his feelings towards Rock sound like something that would be coming directly from, you know Mr. Helmsley and his view,” he said. “Because, again, as I said, I always sensed some insecurities as related to Rock and to [Steve] Austin and how, again, in my mind and perception, he never was at that level. And so he wanted to position himself as, well, I’m as good, if not better. Which I don’t know that he has done that.”

Mates also comments on his verbal spats with John Cena and Trish Stratus being welcomed back to the organization. The full article is available here.

It always struck me as hilarious that HHH keeps getting world title reigns, and main event matches like he thinks it will actually make people believe that he was bigger than Rock or Austin. It's like he's a mark for his own work.

Kane was the original video game nerd, him and Booker. They used to play on Live when it first came out, mainly Ghost Recon. Although, I believe Kane doesn't play much at all these days.

WrestleMania predictions!

John Cena

I am now imagining Kane laughing down the headset when he gets a kill in Halo.

Also, Booker netting a 5-streak kill

I have bought this years mania snacks.

1 probably too large for myself pepperoni pizza

1 bar of white chocolete

1 strawberry milk because FUCK YOU I LIKE STRAWBERRY MILK.

It's MANIA time, brother!

Here are my picks and the order of the card:

Cody Rhodes vs Big Show

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy

Kellyx2/Maria Menuenos vs Beth Phoenix/Eve

Kane vs Randy Orton

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan

Undertaker vs Triple H w/Shawn Michaels [Guess Referee]
Taker wins via DQ. Taker has HHH down and does the throat slash to signal the Tombstone. Brock Lesnar interferes and F5s Taker. Michaels sees everything and is hesitant, but has no choice other than to DQ HHH.
HHH gets mad at Michaels while Taker seeks revenge on Lesnar. There are your two main events for WM29.

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho
Jericho has Punk in the Walls of Jericho for a very long time. Punk manages to get to the ropes, crowd erupts and Jericho thinks he won. Ref argues and says Punk got to the ropes. Jericho turns around and gets a kick to the head. Anaconda Vise, Punk retains. Jericho bitches the next night and says he was cheated out of a victory and demands a rematch. Punk says he's a true champion and will give Jericho a rematch in Punk's hometown Chicago at the next PPV.

The Rock vs John Cena
Cena beats Rock CLEAN. Post match Rock extends his hand to Cena. They shake hands and, wait for it... Rock beats the shit out of Cena. Rock returns around Summerslam as a heel since Cena will never turn.

So apparently Flair responded to crowd chants for him to come back by stating "I want too..."

Guess TNA isn't paying as well as he'd like.
