Btw, is PW working at some point. Couldn't find it in the official/non-official list of games working :\

edit : nvm saw it. sorry for that.

Got some time in on Virtua Tennis which finally arrived from Target after being ordered at launch. I have to say, it's a shame this title has such shitty distribution because it feels like the most complete and polished game out there so far. I can't believe how much there is to the game. I'm pretty impressed so far.

Dear Sony, fix this stupid poo.

Bought the digital copy of GT PSP through the Vita and it won't let me download.

yeah I really like the world tour format now.

Both God of Wars are on the vita store for €8! I'm glad I held off buying GoS for €25 a few weeks ago.

EDIT: that's €8 each of course

Err, I have a feeling this is just me that PSN is down for? As soon as I purchased Motorstorm Arctic Edge I got disconnected and the download never started. Haven't been able to reconnect since, the error is NW-9741-1 :S

Edit: actually, looked it up here - one of the reasons was a manual DNS which I was using for Netflix. Set it back to automatic and it worked fine.

Anyone from EU/UK, m8's?

Zavvi.com, is it trust worthy to import from EU to US?

Thinking of Grabbing Army Corps + Sega Mega Drive Collection (PS3)
Was looking @ Ridge Racer, but Jesus 3 tracks... GTFO!

Comes out to 25.99 pounds... so how much is that in US money?, never mind $41.64, not a bad price

Anyone know how long the deal lasts?

WTH! the NA store is such crap :(

there are only 4 psp games i would DL on my vita and those are 2 of them. im not paying 50$ for them when i bought them for under 10$ on UMD

Sorry to hear that man. Hold off, they'll be $10 each soon!

i really hope so, ive played them before but i want to experience them on my vita and put more time into them.

also resistance needs to come back onto the store, i still dont understand why that was taken off. I would gladly pay 20$ for that

Ya the World Tour mode really impressed me. I had no idea it evolved into this. Even more surprising was that they had injuries now that you can play with during the World Tour. I had to play with a sore ankle that caused certain hits to be weaker shots. Never seen injuries in a tennis game before.

bought both GOW, gran turismo and resistance

fuck gran turismo is terrible looking

just tested ghost of sparta, some weird tearing (not even tearing , like micro freeze with a tiny bit of tearing) . as for ingame i just played 5min, tearing, no real slowndown but jeez it does look bad....
im too used to gow collection on ps3 i guess

I would love more Disgea 3 impressions. Never played a Disgae game.

This is my first Disgaea game and I am loving it. The graphics are not super sharp but they are still nice if you like the sprite look but the gameplay has been tons of fun. It's a turn based strategy game and there seems to be a bunch of customizable things (weapons, characters) I have only just begun to learn the game but there are a bunch of different gameplay elements that change the way the game plays out (or can). I think if you like turn based strategy and RPG lvl building elements, you would probably enjoy Disgaea. Story is kinda cheesy so far but i think it adds to the games personality.

I wathced that video along with this Dev demo. The only question now is DD or retail.

DD is a 3 GIG total (2.2 game .8 save)

kinda big IMO but i still went DD because I figured id play it alot.

I have the same issues with GOS. Totally pissing me off.

Wow

I was sure killzone liberation was working on vita? Holy shit. Is not. Spent 8e for shit i guess

I(killzone liberation pla-platinum)

By the way noeasy refund method like apple?

Maybe it's on the US Vita store? Just checked and it's not listed on the UK store (from the Vita) but I don't know if it's compatible when copied from the PS3.

Been a fan of Disgaea since the PS2 days. Disgaea 1 was amazing.

The game is just plain fun. The story doesn't take itself seriously. You'll chuckle a few times. The story, though, is just a minor part of the game. Post game is where all of your 47485648: hours will be spent. If you think I'm exaggerating on the hours, I'm not lol.

Grinding is a big part of the game but for me, it's the most fun and it doesn't feel like a chore.

You can level up characters to 9999. You can even perform a reincarnation and start back at level 1 but you would be much stronger.

You can go into items and level them up and make them stronger. This is the item world...and when I say items, I mean all items. Weapons, armor, items.

Deal damage in the billions!

You can create a number of characters/monsters.
You can absorb a character in order to become stronger.
You can attempt to pass certain bills that have different effects: have more high level equipment for sale, stronger enemies, gain more experience etc.

The above cost Mana, which you get from defeating enemies. In regards to defeating enemies, only the character who delivered the final blow will get the experience (unless you performed a team attack..then those members will get experience).

Speaking of team attacks, if one of your characters attacks an enemies while his teammates are directly next to/behind him, there's a chance of a team attack. So you could have 1-4 people attacking the same enemy. Theres a percentage that you can increase.

Many things to learn in this game and if it's your first game you MAY get overwhelmed but it's nothing that would make you annoyed.

Disgaea 3 is the perfect Vita game right now, IMO. One of the reasons why I bought a Vita.

I've never played Disgaea 3 on the ps3 and I'm glad. Playing on the vita is a dream come true. I believe there are cameos from the other Disgaea games but you don't NEED to play them but it's cool to see a character and say, "oh snap! It's you again!"

I like you... Its nice to see another GUSHING Disagea fan.

i think im going to get it because i love turn base games. This woud be my first time ever playing one of these games in the serious and im just curious, how are the trophies for this game? are they attainable or something im going to have to play for 100's of hours to get half of them?

I never understood Disagea

It always look liked arithmetic/numbers porn game wise

Am I missing something?

They all appear to be hidden... But I've gotten one for starting the game and one for losing a battle.

Games fun very deep. Story is weird and quirky but I don't mind it

Yea, the trophies are all hidden but I'm sure there are a few that are the same as the PS3 version.

There's 1 trophy...
where you have to play for 10 hours straight..but you can put the Vita on sleep mode and it should still work. Just don't turn off the Vita or exit the game. You can be on the home screen as long as you don't exit the game itself.

I'm working on that one right now.

Difficulty to plat: 8.5
Time to plat: > 100 hours

I'm the same way. It looks interesting as hell, but I hate the micromanagement of RTS games with a passion.

Oh yeah,
so my mom bought a Vita and currently plays Uncharted: GA. I'm not sure what to suggest to her. She enjoys Starwars The Old Republic, Sims 3, simple puzzle games, and Journey. Any ideas?

And what is this "Paint Park"?

That's exactly how I feel right now. I'm only a couple of hours in and it's hard to absorb everything that's being thrown at me. However, the mechanics that I have learned so far are very fun. I can't wait to get deeper into this game!

It's a free Paint App, like Welcome Park shows you the VITA touch features with mini-games, this you can draw stuff for fun (Penis Galore Incoming)

She can buy Plants Vs. Zombies a little pricey @$14.99
Tell her to DL Motorstorm RC for free, she might enjoy the racing
Montezuma Blitz is free too, like Peggle
A lot of people are raving about the Mutant Blob game, platformer, only $7.99

Sweet, thanks!
I don't think she'll be into Motorstorm RC or Plants VS. Zombies, but I may just buy Mutant Blob for her (and myself)!

totally sure.
tried from vita store (doesnt show up) and downloaded with ps3.

its Pal game
There seems to be some difference between the stores of which PSP games that are supported for some reason. God of War: Ghost of Sparta is not supported on the european Vita store either.

I have no idea why it is like this, the Vitas should all the be the same, so why doesnt it work for all? It is not a license issue or anything like that because the games are on the european PSP store.
