Oh the scepter has to touch the heart to work? Or could he have just tapped somewhere else and had it work
Makes you wonder if it's easy for him to mind control a Time Lord...yeah I went that dorky.

I like black panther, but aside from his vibranium weapons his abilities are extremely similar to Black Widow aren't they? And yeah wakanda would be hard to pull offRe: adding to the roster for Avengers 2...
She-Hulk: Sorry, but the public just isn't familiar with her, and so she'd just come off as a female hulk, which is too bad. Also, you don't need another brutal fighter on the team.
Ant-Man: The power might work well, team-wise, but Pym would be the third scientist in the group, causing a bit of redundancy, now that they've already shown Banner and Stark working together in a lab.
Wasp: Can't be done without Ant-Man, so that sort of doesn't work
Ms. Marvel: Now this one might work, just play up her absorb energy/shoot energy powers, and her military background, and she brings something more unique to the team
Black Panther: The character would work, no doubt, but Wakanda might be tricky to do correctly. Also, the name will be a difficult sell to the public.

What does Ant-Man look like? The name alone conjures up an awfully funny image.

For those who missed it. The reason that Hulk decided to become friends with the Avengers was because on the carrier he was under the influence of Loki. Which is why they showed Banner holding his staff. When he fell and changed back, Loki's influence wore off and Banner came back to the city, showing that he has full control of Hulk like it was implied in the 08 film. He didn't turn into Hulk on the carrier because he lost control, he turned into Hulk because Loki forced it to come out under his control.
Hope that clears it up.

Is that a mask or a mutation?

Helmet.
Pym is an expert in physics, cybernetics, a.i and entomology (of all things) The helmet allows him to communicate with ants when he shrinks.
Helmet.
I don't think he was entirely under his control like Hawkeye, they would have shown the eye thing.
It was just manipulation, probably the staff doing something which was also helping to cause everyone to argue.
No not really.
Hulk wasn't in control because he didn't choose to change, it happens as a result of the explosion. Banner has semi control when he changes on his own but when it's a rage change the Hulk is on auto pilot.
Actually, I see her as more of Marvel's Green Lantern. That is, the career military who gains powers through an accident. That, and you can juxtapose the WWII military of Cap with present day military of Carol. For Ms. Marvel, as per your other points, aside from abilities, wouldn't she just be Captain America 2?
Pym is a necessity in the comics, no doubt. And Ultron would be an awesome story to do, but from the point of view of your average movie-goer, the Avengers already have two scientists. Bringing in a third would seem almost pointless (to them).Pym is a necessity in some form in the Avengers movies if they continue. Too much history on the team, and you need his involvement on some level to bring in Ultron, and fan favorite character Vision.
Panther's costume, and claws/feral weapon style might separate him enough from Black Widow. But, yeah, Wakanda I think would be tricky to do though you might get into some tribal uprisings or freedom fighters or something like that. Africa's a bit too war-torn in the public image at the moment.I like black panther, but aside from his vibranium weapons his abilities are extremely similar to Black Widow aren't they? Says "Sentry"So you're basically shitting on all my dreams, is that it?
But why would they put such focus on Banner starting to rage-out whilst holding the sceptor? Perhaps it's a combination of the two, or maybe you're right, but the scepter helped egg-on his loss of control.
That She Hulk argument is BS as is a lot of the other arguments.
She Hulk can be introduced in another movie and the public is familiar with her thanks to MvC3 and she will be in a cartoon appearing on XD called Hulks Agents of Smash.

I'm pretty sure Loki's plan was to cause everyone to get upset and angry with each other, thus pushing Banner to transform into the Hulk. It seems like he can let the Hulk out when he wants to, but there are times when he can't control it still.
You know who would work on the Avengers cast?

I need it Marvel, I need it so bad.[/QUOTE]
I literally just finished watching First Class for the first time and Fassbender was awesome. As far as I'm concerned, he's Magneto, no need to make him play more comic characters.
What does this mean?

You've brought this up like five times over the past few days. :lol That's a negative, sir. Double negative, actually.
Fact: She-Hulk is not happening before Avengers 2, and there's a 90% it won't happen before or after Avengers 3, either. There's way way many vital characters to introduce before She-Hulk.That She Hulk argument is BS as is a lot of the other arguments.

Henry Pym created a substance that allows him to changes size. Ant-Man was simply one of his aliases. He was also Giant-Man/Goliath.Aside from all that, this thing about Ant-Man: I don't know anything about him, but from what I've read in this thread, it sounds like a ridiculous inclusion that would be just horrible to put in a live-action movie. What's so special about him?
:lol brilliant.

Mickeboy93 is the user that created and posted that Youtube video.
I can see that. I'm asking what are the chances someone involved in the movie saw this clip and effectively took the idea down?
Unless Magneto Origins get some push, and even if it gets, he hardly will be used again.
But that picture is mainly a play on how awesome David is.

I suspect we'll see new characters brought into MCU via the upcoming IM and Thor movies. Plus they could certainly have A2 involve getting another (Vision being created maybe? Plenty of options)Are you all sure they're going to even add more heroes for Avengers 2? It seems like they have the perfect balance right now, and none of the characters mentioned seem like they'd draw in more people; at least more people that wouldn't already come.
Also, I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool to see these people, I like seeing the more niche parts recreated in other mediums, I'm just saying that they already have these moving parts going, and they might not see it as a necessity to add more characters.
Just came back, slightly underwhelmed after seeing so many positive reviews.
I really did not like how the battles always end with the heroes destroying a central-control unit nowadays. It seems so many movies do this. The first thing I thought of when I realized what was happening was "Battle: Los Angeles" (a movie I hate with a passion by the way) when I saw this in The Avengers. :/
I still prefer super hero movies with a more central super villain that is the threat and not just an army of 'stuff'. I hope Thanos can play a more directly threatening role in the next film and not be a pushover like Loki.

I doubt it, tbh. They seem to want to focus on them being their own thing, not involving other heroes. It's possible, though. The best part about IM and Thor movies are the easter eggs they get.I suspect we'll see new characters brought into MCU via the upcoming IM and Thor movies. What else is going on in the future? Is Coulson alive? She Hulk and Ms. Marvel are getting tons of publicity in the future.
