Back to Avengers, it's still the best superhero movie ever!

I've only seen it once, but I can pretty much say without equivocation that it's the last movie I ever need to watch.

...

Not really, it was very good and I don't see where some of the criticism of the writing and dialog is coming from, but opinions man!

Late to the party but I watched it on the weekend and honestly by its end I was like, is that it?. I enjoyed the banter between the characters more than the videogame fight in the last 20 mins.

So then it's pretty much a guaranteed thing that Deadpool in his movie will mention what a train wreck Origins: Wolverine was?

That's the kind of Deadpool I want.

I do recall reading details from the script that in the movie he looks at a Deadpool action figure from the X-Men Origins movie and starts crying.

Most of the new footage apparently concerns Captain America, whose pathos at being shuffled into the 21st Century was mostly put aside

Yeah. Me neither. Is the comic implying that Portman is somehow even close to the level of attractiveness of Hayley Atwell? If so, it's not funny at all.

....I don't get it...

Rogers is lamenting over the death of the chick he was into before he was frozen. Thor sympathizes with his loss by mentioning Natalie Portman who ended up becoming the ballerina in Black Swan? That's all I can think of. Yeah doesn't make too much sense.

Monday Box Office: 19 Million $ drop of 66.7%.

Monday Record holder for a weekend launch movie is still The Dark Knight with 24.2 Million dropping just 43%

Schools are still in so that could be part of the reason, its also baseball season for kids/teens so that would keep some people away from the theaters as well.

How did people not like the Son of Coul? He's the best Avenger. Lighthearted, written perfectly, that permanent smile on his face, he's been amazing in every appearance.

Seriously, his (alleged) death made everyone in the theatre sad, and everyone die of laughter at the "I don't even know what it does" line and pretty much every other line too.

I thought Smulders was a fantastic Maria Hill. She wasn't the huge bitch Hill was in Civil War, which was refreshing.

Gorgeous woman, too. Good golly.

Super impressive given that school isn't out yet. Movie will cross $350M by the end of its second weekend.

Coulson was handled perfectly imo. I love the character, guy goes into overwhelming situations without hesitation and with an air of "Well, that's the job." I'm glad they showed his fanboy side since it gives some motivation to why he is so dedicated to what he does.

She was great! Maybe not as fierce as some incarnations of Maria Hill, but she managed to make herself pretty recognisable.

Yeah I thought she did a good job. She handled that opening action sequence well.

Didn't they cut her scenes because people bitched about Cobie Smulders? Maybe they'll show up on the DVD.

I really liked her. Maybe not "extra scenes" liked her, but potentially. She had a good presence and wasn't annoying, which is about as much as you can ask for a character like hrs.
