The hulk is actually the only being in the universe to successfully lift Mjolnir based on raw strength alone, but he only got it about a foot off the ground I think.

edit: Also in this situation it did/would NOT confer the power of Thor upon him.

He probably pushed the whole planet down while the mjolnir stayed relatively in the same place.

When? Do you have an issue page scan or anything i can verify this with, cuz in my history of Hulk vs Thor fights this has never happened....im not the hugest Thor fan but im a huge Hulk fan so a feat like this should be in my mind.

Please no alternates like some Earth 25436 version of Hulk vs Thor(no ultimate either) cuz we dont even know if every version of Mjolnir shares the same enchantment.

And if you mean Rulk lifting Mjolnir that was bullshit, we all know that.(even though it sorta makes sense)
But green hulk, when the fuck did he lift Mjolnir.......are you sure you not just being trolled by someone editing wiki pages to fuck with the unlearned.

I don't know about that, but I took the info from HERE.

EDIT: New page? Ok!

Just in case (Credits to Mr. Sam for version 1.0):

AVENGERS FAQ 2.0:

  • Why was Hulk not uncontrollable at the end?
Banner's second transformation into Hulk was voluntarily. It's been established, in the comics and in The Incredible Hulk, that a voluntary transformation makes Hulk more controllable and means he can distinguish between friend and foe. Banner's first transformation was involuntary, and thus Hulk was much more volatile.
  • How did Thor get back to Earth? Wasn't that rainbow bridge thingy destroyed?
Thor got back to Earth thanks to Odin using dark magic to teleport him there. Loki mentions this when Thor abducts him. It's implied that this is a very difficult process and a one way ticket - the tesseract is needed to teleport Thor and Loki back to Asgard.
  • What did Hulk say--
Hulk says "Puny god" after smashing Loki. I'm sorry the audience was too loud.
  • Who was that after the end credits?
    Thanos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanos
  • What's shawarma?
No idea. If you stick around after the credits, all the Avengers went out to have some Shawarma.
  • Is agent Coulson dead?
    According to an interview, yes.
  • Where is Spiderman/X-men/Fantastic Four?
Sony/Fox own the movie rights so unless that changes they won't be showing up in any disney/marvel movie.
  • Why is Hulk unable to lift Mjolnir?
Directly from Marvel: "Worthiness Enchantment: This enchantment surrounding Mjolnir prevents it from being wielded by anyone save those who have been found worthy".
  • What does "Mewling Quim" mean?
In more modern English, this would be “whining cunt”.(from bleedingcool.com)

Anything I forgot?

No, we don't.
Do people not comprehend how stupid Ant man/Giant man would come off on screen?
Hank Pym..ok that can work as a scientist name drop.
Giant Man/ Ant Man? No.
It would be ridiculous looking.

They've had no issue pulling off other costumed heroes, I have complete faith that they can bring Giant Man/Ant Man to life.

Probably not canon, and based on the hammer's shape it is probably not the right universe, but anyways...

He did it in the Ultimate Avengers animated film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD_yETfSsiE

EDIT: Beaten.

Also, watching Hulk beat the shit out of Giant Man never stops being hilarious. I want that on film.

Like I've said in here before, I doubt Ant Man is popular enough to justify the (high) budget to do his movie right. The whole shrinking & growing aspect would cost a ton to do properly in a movie. I think making Pym a co-star in one of the other Avenger's standalone movie could work though.

I feel the same way. There must be something special in that script we're overlooking. Feige is a smart guy, he knows Ant-Man is a hard sell, so if he green lights it, there must be something there. Of course, I imagine the marketing difficulties are what has taken so long.

Little too late for that, I think..

I don't think Stark throwing out the term in a joking attempt to persuade Coulson to leave him alone is confirmation the technology actually exists in the MCU. The line was there to get a laugh out of the audience, nothing more.

Certainly might not have been 616.
edit: ahyup, that was what I was thinking of.

You do know how wikis work right?
Pretty much anyone can edit them, so id suggest you dont get "facts" from there.
And without any sort of reference i highly highly doubt that shit is true.
Unless its in some sort of alternate universe, but you linked me to "original 616"

P.S Join the 100 post army peasant!

P.P.S Just to prove a point, the Hulk thing is gone.

P.P.P.S When someone can link me an issue or proof of this feat ill concede to it.

He did it in the Ultimate Avengers animated film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD_yETfSsiE

When i start getting my comic-book "facts" from loosely based on the comics cartoons.....kill me!

I think perchance you may take certain aspects of your life too seriously.

I don't think you realize what you are saying.

But i like Clayton Crains artstyle....yes i said i like Clayton Crains art
This is totally off-topic.

More on topic, who will be the Thor 2 villain?
And will he be coming back to earth?

Portman and Skarsgard already re-signed for the sequel so Earth is back, I think.

It changes when either they give up the rights (never happen), they sell the rights off (probably never happen), they stop making movies and lose the rights (nope, reboots sequels and prequels galore!), or Disney aggressively negotiate to get the rights back (the most likely, but a contracts a contract).

So in short, probably not, no.

In this interview with Wired, Feige says that some of the characters have firm reversion dates:

Feige said:
Well, look, clearly we would prefer everything be at home, so to speak. But all the contracts are different. Some of them have very firm reversion dates, and some of them we don’t expect to get back any time soon, let’s put it that way. We’re fine with that. We have a great relationship with Sony and Fox. Would we like to have them all back? Sure. But we are more than comfortable with the way things stand now, because it worked out pretty well, right? The Avengers is a gargantuan part of the Marvel Universe, as big a part or bigger part than X-Men, bigger than Fantastic Four. There’s no doubt that Spider-Man is the most well-known, but in terms of families of characters, Avengers is bigger. Yes, the book has been around so long that almost every single character has popped in and out at some point. But there was a little bit of planning and a lot of luck that we ended up with Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Widow, Fury, SHIELD, all within our rights. Because that obviously led up to The Avengers.

I think it's been acknowledged that Fox retains the rights to X-Men indefinitely, but I wonder if Spider-Man could revert to Marvel at some time in the future. There were rumors years ago that Sony had the rights for six movies, but that may have been renegotiated.

It occurs to me that without set dates for her Malick films, Thor 2 could potentially mark the first appearance post-preggers and post-Oscar win for my waifu Portman. It's been far too long!

Fistful is probably loading a shotgun somewhere as we speak.
