its funny cause i seen the poster at the theater when i went to see the Avengers movie and thought to myself "fuck this movie...." cause it wasn't Matt Damon. Then when i was walking out after the movie i was psyched to see him on the poster lol

It's funny, I've seen Renner in a whole bunch of stuff (The Town, House, Hurt Locker) but it wasn't until after I saw Avengers for the second time that I decided to pick up MI: Ghost Protocol. Between the Avengers and MI, I'm pretty hyped for Bourne Legacy. Also, his arms are ridiculously huge which is why I'm amused that he wasn't included in the Avengers issue of Muscle and Fitness lol. But yeah, hopefully the deleted scenes have more of him doing stuff, that'd be sweet.

Dude's been good in my book.

sorry, Coulson is actually Mephisto with amnesia

Mephisto has been done (no justice), bro. :(

Not a fan of Thor or Capin Amurrca. But you know what? After Avengers I really like these characters. I know Marvel wants A2 as quick as 2014 but that could be a big mistake, too early and maybe not enough time to develop a great script. Also Fuck SpiderBrat A2 needs Wolverine!

I have to admit I was the same. Never liked Thor or Cap. But as far as I'm concerned, movie Thor and movie Cap are best Thor and Cap.

Movie Cap is especially grounded in a way that makes the character work.

I liked how Cap's first reaction in The Avengers was to wonder if wearing the stars & stripes would be useless in the modern era, a tacit acknowledgement of America's troubled image without loading things with a heavy statement.

The second Cap is rumored to be about AIM and is rumored that MODOK will appear in it.

Also Hawkeye/Natasha/Fury will probably be the stars of SHIELD. And modern Hawkeye written by Bendis is boring.

Read Remender or McCann or Slott's Hawkeye. He is supposed to be a wisecracking player type character with some anger issues.

The script is actually really damn funny. If they dont tone it down, it could be something great.

Ryan Renolds is probably the best person for the character. He is passionate about Deadpool, and has the right type of humor. His abs also would help get chicks to the movie.

The "deadpool" we got in X-Men Origins: Wolverine was terrible. Hope they go back to light-hearted 4th-wall breaking deadpool with ryan renolds.

I dunno how you can avoid AIM and MODOK in Captain America 2, We already know Hydra weapons are there...

...unless Batroc the Leaper takes priority lol.

Renolds has said that the deadpool in the stand alone movie is not the same one that was in Wolverine. Pretty sure in the deadpool script they make fun of the Wolverine movie Deadpool.

Im watching Thor again and I can appreciate Hemsworth's pecs performance a lot more for some reason. It felt so small before Avengers but now its just a prologue to a bigger story. Kind of weird to explain.

"You are no match for THE MIGHTY-"

io9 asked Whedon about killing Coulson.

io9: Are you worried about perpetuating the "Joss Whedon kills your favorite character" stigma, with what you did to Agent Coulson in The Avengers?

Joss Whedon: In our first meeting Kevin Feige said, this is what we're gonna do and I said, "Oh but you have to go out there and tell everybody that it was your idea because this is going to get me so much shit. Because they are all going to be like, "Oh he did it again!" It was stipulated from the beginning, and I completely agree that it was the right thing to do, and so did Clark. Who said in the early days, when I was busy apologizing for it, "In a movie like this, with what's going on if there isn't some toll, it's just irresponsible story telling."

That panel about Wasp telling Cap that not seeing incest as something normal is so outdated shows why I dislike the Ultimate Universe. Hell, Hank is an outright wife beater there.

Really hope we get Wasp in the Ant-Man movie.
