what is that from? monster fighters polybag?

Brickipedia has it listed as a June 8th release. Don't know how accurate they usually are. Looks great, though, I definitely want that.

I'd love to get that Ghost polybag too. I bricklinked the Batman jetski one, but feel a bit silly for paying twice as much for it than it should normally cost.

It the Batman poly rare? My TRU has like 20 of them in a try, $4.99 apiece. Is that a good find?

So here's a heartbreaking lego story.
while walking though the parking lot at work today i noticed a few 2x1 flat bricks on the ground. This was a little strange since I work in an industrial park. Of course the first thing I think is they must be mine and somehow got into my truck or fell out of my clothes or something. a little walk around brings me right to the dumpster that's in kind of a public area. (People use it for dumping trash all the time).. I look inside and notice that it had been emptied maybe a half an hour ago. its empty except for the traces of a bunch of small bricks and random minifig parts in the corner.

The best I can tell is that someone threw out a lot of lego. I noticed the body of a minifig with a locomotive sign on his chest. a sword from some ninjago set i expect. and some divers flippers from maybe an atlantis set. Someone must have dumped a large box of old toys. there were other things in there too. like nerf gun discs.

I spent the rest of the morning thinking about just how much lego was sitting in the dumpster all week..

My TRU got in the Monster Fighers series.

Want the hearse, but $40 is too steep, considering that can be turned into VIP points.

Need.....to......wait......

Which size is 50 AUD? On Holland the 72 x 102 cm is 25 euro and the 52 x 52 is 15 euro.

I like the idea, but I am afraid I am going to glue the bricks on wrong :( I suck hard at DIY

52x52 is $50
72x102 is about $75 I think

:(

I guess you guys live much closer to the manufacturer than us

I just ran down and got myself one. Fun little build. Black Batman is nice, but the helmet doesn't really fit his head. I can see his mouth, but the holes don't line up with his eyes. :

That must be the redesigned Batman cowl piece, apparently it doesn't match up with the face printing.

Man that dumped Lego would drive me crazy.

Also that ghost poly bag set...

Yeah, the cowl is redesigned. There's speculation that it's meant for unannounced Dark Knight Returns sets.

Apparently us Brits can get the Batman Jetski free with the Sun on the 19th according to Brickset.

That does require buying the Sun though...

Dude My Toys R Us sold out on that! All we have is the stupid pod racer. Get 2 of those at least. They will be good to keep or good trades.

Yeah they're doing a whole week of free Lego, the Star Destroyer is my main want though.

If its like the last time, it's a coupon in the Sun which you redeem at wh smith. I just buy the paper and they gave me the toy immediately, then threw the paper in the bin outside the shop

Oh, man. I have been bitten by the Bricklink bug something SHOCKING. Can anyone recommend any awesome MOCs with full instructions to have a crack at?

I've been lurking this thread for a long time now and am not quite into Lego as a lot of you are, although I do collect minifigures from the various series' that get released and sometimes by sets, but I was wondering if someone could help me. Are there directions on how to build the below Lego model from the game Sword & Sworcery, and if there are is there a way I can buy just the pieces I need for it?

Bumping this in hopes of someone being able to point me in the right direction.

Bricklink.com is where you want to go to buy the specific bricks. It's daunting at first, but feel your way around and you'll get the hang of it.

In terms of instructions, quantity of bricks, etc, you're probably going to have to go by eye, as I'm guessing the creator hasn't provided instructions, hency your being here :).

Yeah, I've been Googling like crazy hoping to find instructions but I've had no luck. I was just wondering if someone more informed than I am knew of a site that collected instructions on unofficial builds. But thanks for the Bricklink site. That'll definitely come in handy.

www.rebrickable.com has some MOC instructions, you'll find that 99% of MOCs don't have instructions though, having done them myself for the tumbler they are a pain in the arse and time consuming.

Some people sell instructions on ebay but I would avoid them, they're usually crazy insane buildings with a ton of pieces with no regard to what's actually available on bricklink\lego pick a brick.

That one looks fairly simple as well. A few tricks with depth as I'm sure some of the bricks are 2 wide at parts for attachment but overall easy.

Thanks for the link. What I'm wanting isn't on there but I wasn't expecting it to be. Definitely wouldn't pay for the instructions, haha. I'd rather just attempt it myself.

Yeah, I think I'm going to try it out. First I'll need to determine what pieces I need and buy them from that Brinklink site.

Built the Sonic Boom I grabbed today. Really, really fun build. The entire body comes together in a really cool way, and even the way the wings attach to the body is cool and almost feels like a puzzle.

If anyone can still find it, very highly recommended. Will probably do the alt builds eventually, as the prime build is rather large when done. But in pics, the two alts look like cooler display pieces.

Ugh, I don't ever want to buy individual LEGO pieces from the LEGO.com again.

I got all the pieces I ordered off of Bricklink a few days after I ordered them (from 3 separate sellers!).

Meanwhile the last few pieces I need have apparently been sitting in Strykow, Poland for the last 5 days (while I'm in Seattle). Super annoying that I'm so close to finishing the MOC, and yet so far.

:*(

Well we live closer to Sweden, but not to the place it is made. Doesn't Ikea have their shit manufactured in really poor countries in the Far East?

How much was it at B&N? Might stop by tomorrow. I wasn't going to buy this but since it's going OOP and is so awesome, what choice do I have? I can at least look for it.

I salute you sir, that tumbler is amazing. First MOC I will be buying parts for this week I hope :)

BALLBAGS. Just endured an hour round-trip (el terribles traffic) to pick up some bricks from a Bricklink seller, only to find out that he mistakenly shipped them today. Ha. Ah, well.

So lego.com shopping at home users, what's the deal with the exclusive minifigs? do they just add them to your order automatically? I'm going to do an order (or possibly 2) from the US lego.com store to get the hulk minifig and have it redirected to a Australia via hopshopgo.

Well the TC-14 was automatically added to the Star Wars order and so was some Ninjago figure I once got. So I'd imagine same will happen with the Hulk.

Guess I'll try for the free Hulk fig if the LotR sets appear on the store before the offer expires.

You can sign up for LEGO VIP now via the site? I seem to remember you couldn't do that before, and you had to do it at a LEGO retail store. Anyway I guess I'm VIP now!

What's everyone's preferred LEGO forums and news sites, btw? I'm trying to stay on top of things outside of this thread :P

I use this thread for anything Lego mostly. I check out Brickset sometimes, but not enough to really be on top of the news.

meh, I have a Pick a Brick order pending, but its only 3€ and I don't want to pay more for postage.
so I want to add a nice little extra, but I would prefer a price reduced item, but there is nothing of interesting the bargain area of the german LEGO store :-/

They are having a Brick Magic show this weekend in Raleigh,NC. My wife and I are going to go and take some photos. I'll post up here Saturday/Sunday. I'm looking for the Endor Set so maybe I can find it for a good price.

Ant special offers apart from hulk coming soon? Thinking about a couple of large sets and missed double VIP points last time

Yup, although I held my cart on the 4th while trying to find reasons not to buy anything, and the TC-14 would appear and disappear. They may have had a bug or it disappeared when they ran out of stock. I still got it in the cart eventually.

Yea Im hoping for something good soon. Double VIP would be grand before I get tower bridge. :)

Just picked up these two for 35€, quite a bargain regarding the ppb (price per brick)
