How much did Agent make?
His movies have been far more successful, not that surprised.
But wasn't he already contracted?
Why the difference? When Marvel’s Iron Man grossed a surprising $585 million worldwide in 2008, Downey’s reps at CAA and the Hansen Jacobson law firm renegotiated a deal to include what multiple sources say is a slice of Marvel’s revenue from future movies in which he plays Iron Man (one source puts it in the 5 percent to 7 percent range; another source disputes the percentage. Marvel and Downey’s reps declined comment).
How much did Phil make?
Probably 1/4th the amount of the least payed of the main six members. How much did Phil make?
It's in the linked article:
I wonder how much Whedon got..
Whedon got a jar full of Cameron's tears.
Avatars up for grabs;

Nice, I didn't catch that at all.- two birds fly by Thor and Loki on that mountain, those birds are from the comic and acts as Odin's eyes on earth

I loved how even the HULK couldn't lift Thors hammer.

Just me or did they make the Hammer bigger so Hulk could hold it.... It's smaller than that when Thor holds it.
Edit: They did.

Errr, what? Hulk's hand takes up nearly the entire handle. When Thor holds it, he barely takes up half of it.
Hulk's hand takes like 2/3 of it. His hand is way larger in proportion to his body, it should take up the whole handle. There's a good sized gap between the hammer and where Hulk holds it.
I don't think we'd change the size of an asset for one shot when quickly after we'd have to change it again for when Thor's back in the shot, it would be too noticeable.
EDIT: Looking at the renders frame by frame and the sequence after, I don't see a resize. Due to the angle of the gif though, what you're not seeing is how much wider his hand is. The handle is pretty much only in his fingers, not even in his palm.

The hammer does look bigger. I guess it's just a cheat.

Pics or it didn't happenAre you looking at the same original 2K renders I am, or the short, small-sized gif taken from a poor bootleg capture?![]()

But let's be serious. Look carefully at the gif, Thor starts off what, like way less than half the size of Hulk, he tosses his tiny hammer, I mean its teensy! As it travels to Hulk, it's magically altering in size and when it lands in Hulk's hand, its suddenly large enough to fit in Hulk's hand. This is just too incredible to believe. I can't swallow this hogwash.
I hope this post puts things into perspective.
Not enough nerd rage to be a believable post.
Are we really questioning the size-changing properties of a magical, mythical, lightning infused, worthiness enchanted hammer forged from a dying star to be wielded by a godlike being from another realm of existence?
Just checking.
It's all relative. What's $50M for your star when your movie is going to end up way north of a billion. Good for RDJ.
Yes, it definitely looks off; but of course XiaNaphyrz will deny it by citing his access to ultra-high res frame by frame captures of the scene --- then he will go on to claim that the very act of mentioning something seems off is demeaning to him & his co-workers and that we're all going on his ignore list. But let's be serious. Is this a negotiating ploy for more money for the sequel? The Avengers passed the $1-billion mark in worldwide ticket sales this weekend, and a sequel is already in the works. Does that mean writer-director Joss Whedon will be back at the helm of the franchise that unites Marvels box-office heavyweights, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk?
You know, Im very torn, Whedon said in a sit-down interview in Beverly Hills before the films U.S. opening. Its an enormous amount of work telling what is ultimately somebody elses story, even though I feel like I did get to put myself into it. But at the same time, I have a bunch of ideas, and they all seem really cool.
Avengers: Joss Whedon talks sequel, Buffy and X-Men parallels

Having now seen that he actually was the right choice for this movie I'm now really worried about the idea of someone else at the helm.
