This shit needs to be in the OP.

There is no offline mode because it opens up the games to hackers. Most everything you do in D3 is handled server side, your characters are stored server side, items, and monsters in your game. If there was an offline mode it would be easy for hackers to learn the code and abuse it in the online world. With everything kept online, the hackers don't really have access to the source for this stuff.

Come on, don't tell me that Blizzard cant create 2 separate modes because hackers would crack the source code, gives themselves jetpacks, and some how get through battle net with that shit.

I don't believe it. This is for piracy.

Blizzard cares. And I care. The reason I don't like Torchlight is because it's moddable and hackable, and if you can just hack your way to amazing items, why even play? These games are all about the loot for me. The only reason I'm even remotely into Diablo is because if I got an amazing item, I earned it. Whether it be through money or time.
