The OP needs to be updated with the following:
Diablo 3 is not a single player game, it is a multiplayer game that you can play solo.
You mean like Borderlands?

I like this game, but I can't help but feel like I just bought a beta.
I think he means Left 4 Dead. You mean like Borderlands?
I will pay Blizzard $40 extra for Diablo 3 offline patch.
Anyone else find Zombie Dogs to be insanely underpowered?
Blizzard on twitter says they're aware of more server issues and are working on it
Why didn't they make an offline mode that is purely offline? As in, when you create an offline character, you cant connect to the auction house, play with buddies, etc?
And if you go to online mode, you can transfer that character to offline mode, but not vice versa.
That way, if you are on a trip, you can play another class and level up there, then when you're back home and have internet, continue playing your online class?

Your point? This is a retail release we are unable to play right now. If this were EA people would be losing their shit.
Jesus. Will I ever be able to load Diablo III, and connect with out any hitches? Once again, I cannot log in (errors 75, 3003, and 37 this time), and it's really starting to cook my nuggets.
Just got booted. Neat.

Dude I'm on your side.
Please, please, PLEASE Blizzard, fix the goddamn lag bullshit. I've been stuck on act 1 because I can't finish one of the areas without intense lag that has me killed by mobs of monsters.

Sorry, I had to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSg2JS_Yz7A4) Witch Hunter
Question, sorry if this has been answered already.
Is there cross region/server play? I'm currently in Asia, can I play with my buddies in USA?
Also, I'm gonna be back to USA for a couple weeks in June. Will I be able to play my character on the Asia server when I'm in the States? I have the global version of the game BTW.
Appreciate the help!
There is no offline mode because it opens up the games to hackers. Most everything you do in D3 is handled server side, your characters are stored server side, items, and monsters in your game. If there was an offline mode it would be easy for hackers to learn the code and abuse it in the online world. With everything kept online, the hackers don't really have access to the source for this stuff.
I am having so much damn fun with this game. Alt+tabbing and I guess some people got booted off the server? :eek
Back to playing before I get kicked. 5 hours straight. :3

There is a temporary outage of the Battle.net service. Please try again later.
We had this problem in the beta builds and it seems to have carried over to the retail build. For some reason, the music in Diablo 3 is extremely low compared to all other sound effects. Even when
setting music at 100, and voices / sound effects at around 30-40, the sound effects are explosive and voices booming, yet the music plays at a whisper quiet volume. I dont think this is just a problem with surround sound speaker set ups since i've tested it on a 2 speaker set up, and you can still barely hear the music in the game.
The Diablo series has always had amazing soundtracks to go along with their games, so it just strikes me as strange that the third entry has what sounds like a great soundtrack, yet you can barely hear it, no matter the volume settings.
