So I'm guessing what recipes you get rare is random....

I figured if other people posted what rares they can craft and their level we can figure this out.

Not sure if it's random or not, but you can use those recipes on any character, so when you log onto another character (wiz for instance) you can create a wand for him/her rather than making one and throwing it in your bank, etc.

Dunno. I assume you eventually find some with good +int boosts to help offset normal damage values.

I'm playing as Witch Doctor and he does get sweet voodoo dolls to carry around in his off-hand. Feels a lot more natural rocking one of those than a shield or another weap. :p

Plus the stat boosts can be pretty nice.

Ya make sure you turn on advanced tooltips then you can see how your weapon damage directly affects your individual spells.

Heh, yes, you actually need to hit something. It's meant to keep you on the attack.
 
Hi, I've never played a Diablo game but am intrigued with the latest iteration. I am not sure if it will run on my macbook pro.
My system specs are:

Mac OSX 10.6.8
2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT - 512 MB

Also, will I be able to play co-op with friends on PC?

Whoa, so... weapon damage is EVERYTHING in this game? My mind is blown!
I started a wizard yesterday and kept selling everything because none of it was wizard weaponry. That feels pretty counter intuitive, but I guess I'll get used to it.

So in D2 D3, Breath of the Dying is a Sorc weapon?
 
I found a CE in stores, but I already bought a DD copy from blizzard. I found a friend who is willing to buy my dd key. Do you guys know how I can do that?
 
Thread moves too fast! I shall ask again -- anyone know about the dye system in this game? I am in Act II and have found a few dye dealers, but it's all bright green, bright blue, white and brown. Can you mix dye? Can you find darker dye shades, maybe a dark red?

Can't be done as far as I know. Could put in a ticket with blizzard but with the shit they are dealing with and the amount of people trying to do hat your doing I doubt that they allow it.

What. That's kinda bullshit. It's either sell my download code or sell my CE at a markup. I'd rather not do the latter.

Do people actually not pick up white items/gray items? I find it too much of a hassle to determine what/what not to pick up, so I pick up everything till I run out of inventory, town portal, sell all whites, see if any of my blues&above are worth equipping/stashing, shard the rest, then go back to looting everything.

Most Gamers go through the options relatively early in the game. I personally a lot of popups telling me about all the options the game has, and they would end up turning that into an option (on by default) which would need to be turned off in the options!

Leave white/grey on the ground. No point to pick them up. They sell for like 3g.

Also I believe there's some system that rewards you for not going back to town? Dont know if it's hidden or something.
 
Wizard dps = 3564, and that's not counting archon in (at that point it gets to like 25k dps lol)

If you see my post from above a Blizzard rep confirmed that they'll give you a key to gift if you buy a CE after entering in a Standard Edition key. I'd just suggest calling them, as tickets would take forever.
 
Hit 17 with the witch doctor, loving this. Amazing how the game opens up after the beta stuff.

Explosive Toads + Direbats + Soul Harvest = ownage

They sell for so little that they aren't even fit to be vendor trash :p
