I have a Radeon HD 5670 and the game is pretty laggy, playable but annoyingly laggy, anyone else with the same issue? I have updated my drivers (the Catalyst Engine Control Center) but I can't seem to figure out how to make the game play better, any ideas?

Oh god oh god oh god

I was playing and murdering these giant moth like monsters and spiders and shit and then a FUCKING GIANT ASS MOTH flew into my tv and then turned around and flew right at me so I jumped off the couch and the giant fucking moth flew into the wall and fell behind the couch.......

I have been unable to locate the moth, kinda terrified now

Low FX helped me out a little. I'm rocking a 6550M which is dropping to 10fps in big battles regardless of resolution.

So, fuck, I'm like fully in Auction House Rares and Magics appropriate for my level (18). WHy is all the gear I'm finding at my place in the game (Act II) for level 9-12?

Still no disconnects. The General Chat thing had to be it. What a stupid thing to have ruined all my play the last two days. I'm so happy now.

General chat does what now?

is it normal that whenever i use the attack button on my WD(with shift even) the whole screen flickers slightly even if i just shoot a random blowdart in town?

seems to be since my gf has the exact same thing happening on her PC with her barbarian, it's just kinda irritating and i never noticed this before in the beta hmmm...

If you mean that screen shake, with certain abilities on all classes it's normal. It's suppose to help along with other visuals to simulate impact etc of abilities. Really annoying effect, I think you could turn that off in Torchlight.

No use complaining about it though, most people don't notice it. Blizzard has way more important issues to fix, like the fucking stutter they said was already fixed in the retail client.

Played some coop with two friends earlier tonight. Act 1, when the action gets a little heavy, I've seen my framerate hit 10-15 fps on a above recommended spec pc, pretty inexcusable on Blizzards part.

6870 played with a starter key and yeah it's really laggy. Like I lagged out alot. Even when I turn down the gfx it's still laggy.

Hi Diablo 3 crazed GAF. I finally got up and running today.

I'm having a problem. So far I've only solo'd, and I get this weird bug. Well, idk if it's a bug, but here's what happens.

All of a sudden, all NPCs and enemies in the area that I haven't interacted with in the last..say 20 seconds disappear.

I can still walk around and slash, monster don't fight, they shuffle a little but don't move or follow me. Than finally anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes it starts working again.

Bugging me out.

Is there an easy fix for this?

Seems I've fallen victim to the "You have been removed from the game" issue plaguing many players that sees the game unplayable for more than ~5 minutes at a time. Suppose I'll just give up until tomorrow.

Just finished normal, level 31 wizard, 20hours dead, not a single set / legendary drop :(

Game is RAD tho, story was awesome, I loved it, not a single Act I dislike !!

Onto nightmare now :

I have AMD R HD 5650 and the game is running flawlesly (all high+aa, no low fx)

Try to play with Internet Throttling(even though this matter is around drivers I guess)

or disable services you don't need and so on.
I was having what you described in beta, it is sooo okay right now.

Level 30 now and this is my build at the moment:

I use Spirit Walk to get close to enemies, use Soul Harvest, then run back and just one hit everything with Firebats and Poison Darts. My Templar and Gargantuan tank everything.

Haven't died once and everything is really easy right now. Can't wait until higher difficulties. Planning on doing those co-op, want to try out more team focused builds with Hex, Mass Confusion and the like.

Wouldn't it be better if you all just played normally? seems inefficient.

No. With 70% item find, I might get 2-3 golds per dungeon. This way, in about 20 minutes, we get 20+ golds.

This way, I can farm a set of perfect items for my friends, and sell everything else on the AH.

There are a number of bosses a newly created character can get to in under a minute.

I don't know if its worth it in the long run, but the 4 of us are pimped right now and it only took about an hour and cost us nothing.

Stupid question, but how do I call back my Templar? My friend joined an ongoing game of mine and he disappeared. Not sure how to bring him back...

Damn I hope they fix the laf/stuttering issues when I come back from my vacation (no playing Diablo for a few days NOOOOO).

It's fucking embarrassing for Blizzard.

damn.

Got any tips for starting out a monk? (ACT1 normal)

:)
Have fun with it until Act II NM. See what style you like.
Dude you are a beast.... 2k dps on a monk. That is so absurd.

Edit: Do Jeweling pages drop more often later? They are rare as hell so far.
Pretty common. AH is cheap.

2k dps is my low end tank build. I could get 3k, even more with offensive buffs, but you just die to everything in 2 hits (or 1 from column guys who hit for 12k)

I've tried screwing around with the Catalyst control, the in game graphics, Un-installing and re installing the game, I've already updated my drivers to its current (had the same problem before update, have the same problem after update)

I tried playing through it and It completely crashed my PC after walking into the first Pub. Any help?

Hey guys i have a technical problem.

Im playing on a Notebook with the following specs: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHZ, 4GB Ram, Geforce GT 120 M. The game runs like shit :( Even if i play on 800x600 with everything on low the game drops to 10 fps sometimes. Is there anyway to improve the settings so that i can play fluidly? Can you run it tells me that my CPU is about 200 MHZ to slow, everything else is above recommended. My GPU has all the shaders and enough VRAM so i dont really think what to do ... help please :)

Oh God the GAF battletag list has 480 names on it. There is no fucking way I'm going to send 480 friend requests using D3's terrible UI. Fuck that.

:lol

I friended all Europe this way -

1)open notepad and write massage, export gaflist and sort by locations, open diablos friend request sender

2)select everything in notepad, click on tag in gaflist, diablo and add after adding, click on add again, alt tab gaf list, ctrlc ctrl w, click with mouse on notepad ctrlc ctrlv, send, click on add again and repeat

windowed mode is better for this, since you can click between windows instead of alt tabbing.

I've tried beta on GF 105 M and it was like slowmotion movie even on everything low...so I don't know.

Only thing I can do at work instead of dreaming about me playing Diablo is helping people with Diablo

Or just create a pivot table from the Excel sheet, sort by region (cuts down the list by half, at least :P) and then manually select each entry !

buy a computer that doesn't suck. That GPU is awful!

Noooo at work now ;(
Hope I can Co-op some Acts tonight on this new difficulty. Kind of annyoing the jewler is gone though.. Im guessing I just "warp" back to Normal to use him?

Here's me at level 29.

Do give tips on stats and such because this is basically me on that:
Didn't play DH yet, but man, that's low dps for a lvl 29 character. I had about 400 at that point on my Wizard...

Dexterity is your main stat, every point is giving you 1% more dmg - stack that on your items.
Also , you have too much intellect, you don't really need it - it's only for resistances for your class.

Or just create a pivot table from the Excel sheet, sort by region (cuts down the list by half, at least :P) and then manually select each entry !

And you didn't read the first point which is basicaly what you "adviced"?

edit: not basicaly, but exact the same

Well i would if i had the money ^^ I find it funny that i can play DOTA2 at 1280x720 with everything on high at 25-30fps constantly but Diablo wont even run on the lowest settings xD
