You think that's bad, my girlfriend reads fanfiction and she tells me she encountered an Avengers/Glee crossover.
...How'd they make that work?

It begins and ends with Buffy having universe-crumbling sex with Adam WarlockCan't wait for the epic Avengers/Firefly/Buffy/Dollhouse crossover fan fiction!

We may be reaching nerd critical mass. Quickly, somebody write some fan fic where the Avengers meet up with the original Star Trek crew! I want to see the internet fold in on itself.

or something
No idea, the less I know the better.
...How'd they make that work?
Yeah, gonna have to agree with that...
On a sillier note, I like this crossover better (found on tumblr)

So when does Stark get turned into a llama?
Hawkeye and Thor are avid glee club enthusiasts. They drag the rest of the team to a performance, when suddenly, a released Loki attacks! Luckily, Earth's Mightiest Heroes have some help the music talents of New Directions and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
Man, this shit practically writes itself.
That sounds horrendous.
Don't insult my art! >:'(

>:'( You sound horrendous.I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. The Glee/ Avengers crossover fan-fiction sounds horrendous.
This sounds worse than my Tony seducing Bruce at his mansion while Pepper dresses up as a teenager story in the Iron Man vs Batman thread.

Now come up with a story as to why this would be happening.
Thor has seen many wonderful sights since he arrived on Midgard, but none have inspired him more than the wonderful displays from the cyclists in the annual Tour de France. Against the wishes of his team, the Son of Odin enters the competition, wanting to test his mettle in a new arena. But things are not what they seem, as the cyclists are revealed to be murderous Skrull invaders. Now it's a race against time, with Thor leading the charge against the hostile aliens.
I've got a real knack for this.
I propose a truce.. Let's hug it out, bro.
Bah. Where's the drama? The suspense? The craziness?BAH! I have a shorter description that will work better:
Thor VS. Hercules in the Tour de France.
I look forward to your letters.
Oh god, we're into puns now?!
I propose a truce.. Let's hug it out, bro.
Guys, Thursday has officially been renamed to Thorsday.
![]()
The name is derived from Old English Þūnresdæg and Middle English Thuresday, which means "Thor's day".
The Enchantress plots a scheme to destroy the multiverse's best cyclist, Lance Armstrong. It turns out that, as a child, Lance was bestowed the heart of an Asguardian by an extremely drunk Volstagg for reasons unknown. Enchantress finds out about this, and decides that she can eat the heart to make her powerful enough to defeat Odin once and for all.Okay here:

Mind blown.
I really thought the Thor/Thursday thing was common knowledge... Guess not?
The origin of the word Thursday is outright shown in Thor.
Can't believe I missed that. What part of the movie? Wait, you're talking about the movie right?
Edit: Excuse my ignorance, I had NO idea of this.
When Selvig is looking at one of his old mythology books, he sees both the Bifrost and Thor, and the top of the page is "Thursday, Thor's Day".
I don't remember exactly when.
Tuesday - Tyr's Day (Norse god)
Wednesday - Odin's Day (Norse god)
Thursday - Thor's Day (Norse god)
Friday - Freya's Day (Norse god)
I hereby call for the renaming of Saturday to Lokday for "Loki's Day".
I think that's like the fifth time I've seen that image have to be rehosted :lol
Just had a coworker mention. "Finally saw The Avengers, it was okay, I thought it was going to be better. Hulk looked like shit, though. He was better in the second one."
Also while we're on the topic of days
Sunday - literally Sun Day
Monday - Moon Day
Tuesday - Tyr's Day (Norse god)
Wednesday - Odin's Day (Norse god)
Thursday - Thor's Day (Norse god)
Friday - Freya's Day (Norse god)
Saturday - Saturn Day (named after the planet, which was named after a Roman god)
