I love IAS%. I think I've got around 25-ish% on my Monk which makes the switch to 2H Staff very pleasant.
That said, the problem with IAS% for casters is you're still resource limited. Granted, you still have a signature spell to spam for it but it doesn't help certain spells all that much.
It was only 4000 so I don't think I'll bother but I really wanted the item

Made an ticket and they wanted an approval for limited item restoration.
Scanned my computer found no malware, logged in on my D2 account everything was still there. And this is the first time I am getting hacked. Which I kind of believe it was not my fault.

Something similar happened to me once. I bought out an item and it took my gold but then it said someone else won the auction.
It wasn't a lot of money, but if this happens when the real life currency auction house comes up there will be problems.
To think my first class was DH and then I switched over to Monk. Oh well, it isn't like I'll be approaching Inferno anytime soon.
Well... I was farming Mira Eamon on inferno public games, so it was in and out every 3 minutes.. Altough some guy has chinese characters on that friend list recently played.

Happened to me, Auction House eventually gave me the money back with "Failed" as the transaction.
Nope. I logged out manually before the 8 hours downtime. 6 am or something GMT+1 and just logged in 9pm GMT+1.
Asked a friend in my friends list if I had been online during 6 am - 9 pm he said: yes, I sent you a couple of messages but never got messages back.
Ah damn, that sucks. I had heard that whenever people are stealing your session information you'll be DDOS'd as they're taking over :\

It doesn't wipe your characters, and any new character you make starts with the dyes and wings in their inventory. So make a new character then throw the items in your stash to give them to your DH.

Fuck this game, its not worth it with this lag. I wont play it again unless they fix the lag/stuttering issues so many of us are experiencing. It has just completely killed my excitement for Diablo. To think this was one of my most anticipated games since it was announced.

Was trying to buy some gems today and it kept telling me my buyouts had timed out or giving me an error when trying to buy out gems.
Eventually I got one to work, sent it to my stash and played for an hour.
Log out and check, turns out every single one of those "Your buyout offer timed out" or errors it gave me when trying to buy them actually went through and I ended up with 7 gems instead of one. Again, it only ever told me one auction had gone through. If that had been real money, I would be pretty pissed.

Anyone wanna speculate on how profitable the auction house will be, say, once you reach the endgame levels and start earning some good loot?
I have no illusions that playing Diablo 3 and selling items all day could be a sustainable income... but it could be a nice little bonus on the side in addition to having a regular job.

Won't you competing with farmers in Asia? Labor is so cheap they'll probably drive the prices way down.
In other news though, latency has gotten a lot better. Played for about 3 hours today and never got over 250.

Yes and no. They can only have 10 auctions per account. Which means if you want more, you have to buy another copy of the game. I speculate that is one of the major reasons for having the AH like that - to limit the amount of impact farmers will have.

whats with the disconnects lately? yesterday I was getting 3007 error every 10-15min now today im getting no error but it says my connect was lost and sends me back to the hero list.

It's not just diablo though pingtest.net is saying it can't even read my packet loss. My modem downstream light occasionally blinks which is when it messes up. It's a new modem that had been working great months prior. Bleh.
I know it's bad, but I'm glad I'm not the only one.
My favorite stat by far on my DH. I have atleast 10% on my hands/2 bows/amulet/ring then the 15% dual wield bonus.
I'm sure that sucks, but I haven't had the same experience. Last Wednesday afternoon (right after launch) the lag and stuttering was terrible. Ever since then though the game has played fine. There is the occasional roll back and stutter, but nothing some people seem to have experienced. It seems it just varies greatly (I'm on Roadrunner).

Christ! I'm level 30 and am only doing 520 damage with my DH
I just beat Azmodan in about 15 seconds on Normal though. I've gotten such shitty drops.

Got everyone organized to meet up and then find out Guest users can only access match-making...

I'm also with RoadRunner and haven't really experienced significant lag. Ping bar is almost always green.
This is how I found my first legendary item as well.

You can trade Gold but not drop it. Presumably so you can't just drop Gold for the picking up Gold Achievement.
