PC decided to restart itself mid quest last night. Has never happened in any other game. Re joined once PC booted up and it was fine. Hope it was just a random one time thing.

Nightmare, Hell and Inferno is basically New Game+. The ones who are making Blizzard money are the ones who chose to do so, and like choosing the difficulty levels, totally optional.
 
Another thing that bothers me about level 60 is that to really get good stuff I need 6 stacks of Nephalem Valor...and that kinda makes the game hard to play in small doses. It takes awhile to get those stacks, then I can get some good stuff.
 
got a Starter edition Key...played for while as a Monk...its good but its definitely lacking visually and its got some odd frame rate drops. If that is down to the whole buffering thing then that might explain it.
 
So my sells/complete tab on auction house is blank. I had some expensive shit for sale, and stuff in my "sold" queue... anyone else have this problem right now?

I usually just wait a minute and it shows up. Or go in-game and exit and it processes. Something like that.

I've never had anything not show up eventually before.

I'm having other problems with the auction house, although not that one specifically. I can't receive all the money I got for my sold gems. The game says I sold them for 10k, but it's only giving me a fraction of that, and I can't even send that to the stash.
 
Just got a 830 dps 1 hander for 20,000.

Why do people put million gold items down for 20,000? Like 5 seconds of research would have made him much richer.
 
So I had 200,000 gold mysteriously disappear, looked though my auction house log, and found out that a bid I made on a weapon apparently actually went through, but the item is nowhere to be found. How long do I wait before filing a ticket?
 
Just lost 30k on an armor piece I was trying to buy on the AH. System timed out and have yet received my refund. It's only 30k, but damn.

Maybe he has a kind soul? It's dumb as hell to pay 2 mil for that, screw that noise. Bless him wherever he is.

It's a bid, no? Once the bid ends / if you get outbid, it'll send it back

You may still get it back.

Once I lost 38,000 gold and it gave it back to me a day later. Twice. And the item I missed supposedly to boot. Was a neat moment, but I realized it could have worked against me just as much. I may have a duped item too.

I swear playing the AH is as much fun as the game is.

Yeah, the fun part is that I spent another 80,000 on a different item, and apparently both auctions 'resolved' from the standpoint of my wallet when that one completed. I can just resell the second item of course, assuming the first one shows up.

That's not particularly good. As always, though, the best way to price check is to search for like items in the auction house.
 
Honestly I don't mind under cutting the other prices, yeah said weapon may sell at 50k buy out,but if I put it 25k it stands out among the crowd and sells for sure sooner then if it's just another 50k. Still more money then selling in game, the only time I put items up really high is when I bought them at that price IE bought weapon for 35k, put it back up for 35k once it's usefulness is gone.

the AH seems totally fuck right now. I can't send one of my unsold items to stash, it keeps giving me errors, two other items that are labeled as expired aren't showing up in my list. and the most annoying thing is that it's telling me i have 5/10 auctions up when technically don't have any.
 
The real money AH is going to be very interesting in the opening hours.

I'm really reluctant to hook anything up to it until they've resolved some of this stuff.
 
Auction house now down ha. Well hopefully my wand is back when it goes up.

Anyhow, just beat hell, the final boss was real easy to just kite. Started taking a lot more damage at one point and got real confused until I realized I needed to recast force armor. With Nephalem Valor I actually got 3 rares, but they were all trash.

The Dex stats, criticals and socket are the 3 good things going for it. It's a decent early NM level ring someone will be willing to buy especially DH players. If not they will probably just give it to their Scoundrel follower.

I would put 10K on the buyout price and if it doesn't sell drop it down to 8K-9K.
 
I am sure this has been discussed but is anyone else pissed off that the maps aren't randomly generated. Maybe the small side dungeons (which are usually very small, like 1 room with 5 guys in it) are randomly generated but the paths and such are always in the exact place on every game and difficulty. Kind of takes a lot of the searching and such out of the game. Then again so far this game is 50% AH so i guess no need to search in game for things.

I hope the RMAH doesn't completely kill any good items being put on the ingame AH...

Seriously, it's fine if video game gold disappears for a few hours but when real money doesn't turn up things will probably get ugly.

Imagine how all those day traders felt when they bought $10,000 of Facebook stock and it didn't show up for 10 hours but the money was gone.

Eh, it's not too random. I just beat him solo on my Monk. Took me two tries because I borked up my skills to heal. It's definitely harder now that I don't have as consistent a heal like I did with Boon but eh, was more than manageable.

It works surprisingly well against some Blue/yellow elites as well though Vortex is annoying and if an Arcane Sentry is put in a bad place, it can be annoying. When you put down a Sanctuary, you gotta make sure to hold shift to stay in place and use the deadly reach to hit otherwise there's not as much point in having it unless you drop it in a doorway.

Which rune do you use on MoC?

I'm also curious how you weave your two primaries together. NM, had two builds up. First question still stands though.
 
There's a spot where you can't be hurt by fire on the Butcher fight. Made that fight really cake on Inferno.

Not sure if it's hotfixed yet but when he drops to around 55% hp, you can stand on the south wall and pummel away.

Still rocking it. I'm able to kite some champs now, but SS being nerfed has hindered that pursuit. I did manage to get to +5 NV though, and this dropped:

Oh man...if only I was a tank and could just stand there and fight him =/ I still haven't taken him down on Inferno.
 
So I've found this amulet that boosts +16% chance of critical hit but when I look at details it says that critical hit damage is increased from 50% to 66%, what am I doing wrong?

Has to be one of the more sought after items in the game due to very high mf and decent DPS.
At least a few mil is my guess, but I don't know about other mf weapons and being WD only hurts.
