Diablo III |OT2| Queues Rise. Servers Fall.

So apparently NL's witch doctor was testing some attack speed items and if you have an item that says "Increases attack speed by X%" it doesn't actually do anything, unless it's on a weapon. If it says "attack speed increased by X%" then it does work.

Pretty low STR though. Not sure if the resist makes up for it, but I'm not a barb so it's hard to say.

STR stacking stops being relevant after a certain point as far as mitigation is concerned. Add 100 to that and it probably wouldn't even adjust 1% Mitigation.

Just got this off the AH for 15k.. LOL

Aah I see. Makes sense. DH's don't have to worry about mitigating anything (we die either way) so it's kind of a foreign concept right now.

What a complete and utter bullshit. And it's not even that hard to test, how could he fuck this up? Just tested myself, the aspd from other items works just fine, move along.

Hmm...maybe I should sell some of the +all resistance gear I have sitting around.

STR isn't that important. The armor/resist is good and if anything someone would pay a lot to use it in a backup/MF set

100 STR will go a long way damage wise.

At 60? Depends. It's still +100% Damage but going from, say, 1000 STR -> 1100 STR means you went from 1100% Damage to 1200% Damage. It's a jump, certainly, but when you're focused primarily on surviving first and foremost, it's not a big deal.

If those pants had 100 more STR (and sockets) then, yeah, it'd be worth shittons more. Just saying that it having only 35 STR isn't a deal breaker vs nearly 600 Armor, 51 All Resists, and 81 Physical Resistance.

Inferno.

I'm right next to the last boss in act 2.

EU.

Come help me. Now.

If you haven't done the boss on inferno, don't PM me.

PM me if you have.

Were you testing on rings? Because rings also work. It's the belts/shoes that don't seem to be working.

I sent mine. I felt my last suggestion is the best one. :P

|OT3|I tried to keep track of how many enemies we've slain…

BUT I LOST COUNT!

A small tweak:

Diablo III |OT3| I tried to keep track of the server outages, but I lost count.

or

Diablo III |OT3| How are players treated in your lands? How odd, in the order they're just nerfed.

Started Inferno as a DH today.

It's hard, I was using tristam and entrances to kill stuff. Guess a lot of people had that idea, what with smoke screen getting nerfed.

So it seems like there is a bug there you click on "Make game open" but it still says closed in the menus so no one is joining. Any experience with that?

Interesting, attack speed isn't even searchable for anything other than rings/amulets/weapons/gloves on the auction house.

Yeah the only items with attack speed on armor are legendaries. Which makes then even crappier than they already are since their only decent stats don't work, lol. I think he was testing a level 16 belt and some level 39 shoes.

I thought we universally agreed to reference Elective Mode in our |OT3| subject header?

As such, my suggestion is: Diablo III |OT3| Turn On Elective Mode Now Before Blizzard Nerfs It Too

They really should of made gems do more than 3 different choices. For having gems be the thing to fill in the gaps for stats... they sure do a lousy job of it.

I've got so many flawless square emeralds on that I'm not even sure if they're doing anything anymore.

So the final Blacksmith and Jeweler crafting books (Tomes of Secrets?) drop only in Inferno, right? I want to farm Hell for a while longer and don't really want to start banging my head against Inferno yet but want to finish raising their levels. Am I screwed?

P.S. I submitted "Bad lag blocks the way, but the will of a Player is stronger!" for the title. The Templar is just perfect for this.
