"Hey look, black controller, must be PS3."
They had a 360 controller on stage at least.
It's specific effects that are too much of a strain to do in a game, and multiples of those effects going on at the same time. The effects are big and obvious, but only to someone that knows what they're looking at.

God damn this game looks incredible. It's like what I wanted Splinter cell to be, and then they added GTA V to the mix.
I would be utterly shocked if this wasn't a next gen game. To me it seems like Ubisoft isn't allowed to say that it's for NextBox/PS4 so they just listed PS3 and 360 for now.
If it's not next gen then Ubi gets mad respect for actually catering to PC gamers for once.

Maybe you are right. It's just that, wow, the guy in the car is actually trying and not wanting to get away when the protagonist pulls him out. As someone said, could be scripted, but for me it was the most powerful moment of the clip.

They just code for a high-end PC and then make adjustments when they have the actual next-gen systems. Which is how I assume all 3rd parties are coding their next-gen games now.
The controller they were playing with means nothing anyway as the game (like AC3) clearly wasn't actually being played live anyway.

Late, but obviously they started development on PC using educated (with possible information from manufacturers?) guesses of what the target hardware would be for the next-gen consoles.
Or, hey, maybe it's just straight up a PC exclusive like the good old days!

Probably was not the most amazing bit of the video (gameplay wise), but I loved this...
I bet you they will release this in Q4 2013 for PC, PS3, 360, PS4 and X720. I think you can guess which machines will run it properly.

Though seriously, this HAS to be on WiiU. It would make a perfect fit for the game. With all the love you gave the WiiU in your conference Ubisoft, don't go turn that around and leave the WiiU without Watch Dogs, seriously. Even if the graphics took a hit I'd definitely get this for WiiU over PC just for WiiU's GamePad.
