No. Works as smooth as an iPad. It likes skin. Not like a DS.quick question. How does the touchscreen feel with the finger? do i need to stab at it hard with my fingernail for it to respond?
Played Scribblenauts Unlimited and Batman AC AE on Wii U today. Scribblenauts worked really well, and utilized the touch screen much like Remix does on iPad. You can type fast if you're used to it, and it was extremely fluid. I almost preferred playing on the smaller screen.
Batman played just like the 360 version, but the inventory is much better and more manageable with the touch screen. I am curious as to how this works when playing on just the smaller screen, but forgot to ask. Still, it's a port so I can only expect small incremental changes to the interface. The Wii U controller feels great after only a few minute of use, but would take some time to learn where all the buttons are at. I'm sold on the system though.
Will post more on other games in a bit. Ask me questions if you want.
as i put the controller back, i turned around to see my best friend, michel ancel, had been watching us play (and me fail like an idiot at certain parts).
Not really, because if there was action to be concerned about, the touch screen switches to show you the action instead of the inventory screen automatically. You can also set quick inventory slots to the d-pad, so that helps if you're concerned.was there too much looking down on the controller and up at the screen for batman
is it going to be a problem?

zelda: battle quest - pretty boring. it's like the swordfight thing in wii sports resort with some crappy archery stuff if you're the loser with the gamepad.
Not in the games I played. Can't speak for any others. How's the screen look compared to, say, an iPad or Vita? I'm curious as to the somewhat low resolution and if that's apparent at all.

Yes. It's capacitive. I don't know about multitouch.Does it support multitouch and is it capacitive based?
I really enjoyed it, and they mentioned that they are looking to do a two pack deal like with MLB The Show, where you pay $80(USD) or something, and get the PS3 and Vita versions.

;_; Did you ask him about Beyond Good and Evil 2?
Thanks for the impressions Ani.
How were the graphics? Any apparently jaggies or noticeable AA?
Yes.
I clarified in my post.um no
Wait so Rayman Legends is launching with the Wii U?

Also, the tilt aiming (of the batarang for instance) will take some major getting used to. I'm sold on the system though.

I forgot that you can just use the Vita as a controller like that if you're doing local play. Hah, that's pretty neat.AniHawk said:played playstation all-stars twice. first it was on the vita against my friend on the ps3. the vita controlled pretty well, but the images were too small on the screen. i can't imagine how a smash bros. will look if it's already so tiny on the vita. i eventually started looking at the tv screen for reference and somehow won despite not knowing what to do.
To those who played PSABR, was there any depth to the gameplay that you felt?
I'm watching the videos and yea they look kind of fun but I fail to see the depth. It looks very limited in depth as in combos and moves look very simple.
silly question, but is there a slot for the stylus on the wii U controller?
Did you test "Post 217" and "GAF"? Please do.
Edit:

Wait so the Wii U Gamepad's touchscreen is multi-touch now? Or is just capacitive?
Oh nice, I'd totally go for that.
Did you ever feel lost in the chaos with the Battle Royale game? That is, did you ever lose sight of your character?
Thanks for the impressions everyone!
Low res, single touch, resistive.
Goddamn, you really are in troll mode today huh?
How is giving someone info about the screen trolling? Drop your shield, there's no need for defense here. So shut the hell up about "trolling". If you can't handle someone's opinions like an adult, stop reading their posts.
