Unit 13 good? What's the general consensus on that game, it looks somewhat interesting but I haven't heard almost anything about it after the launch.

You guys see this crap:
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/06/vita-psone-classics-to-be-rolled-out-gradually/
PSOne Classics will soon be compatible with PlayStation Vita, finally. However, the launch won't just be flipping a switch on all the PSOne Classics available on PSP and PS3. Instead, Vita PSOne Classics will be rolled out gradually starting this summer, Sony informed Joystiq today.

If you've previously bought any newly Vita-compatible PSOne Classic, you'll be able to download it for free on Vita. The exact launch lineup wasn't announced, but expect it to include the games shown at Sony's press conference: Wild Arms, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy 7, Twisted Metal 2, Arc the Lad, Cool Boarders 2, and Jet Moto.
=\

Is this implying we will have to purchase PSV compatabile PS1 classics AGAIN?

Not real sure because they make what's obvious, obvious.

That's like a total duh quote, but does that mean any other PSOne classic you've bought that wasn't strictly Vita compatible is going to be another re-buy? Sounds like it.

I do not understand how it sounds like you will have to pay again when using the words "previously bought" and "download it for free" in the same sentence.

The only issue here is that they are not enabling all PSN PS1 titles at once.

I have sent a tweet to Yosp so if he gets back to me I'll post the reply.

At first glance it sounded like if you already bought the PS1 classic before it was PSV enabled, you're fine; but if you purchase it afterwards, you'd have to buy it separately from the PSP/PS3 version.

Yeah, I get what you're saying and I'm probably reading into too much.

Just concerned they're separating PS1 Classics available on PSN and the "newly Vita-compatible PSOne Classic".

Again, probably just reading too literal. I hope.

Again, no. That's stupid.
While I do now think it's just a weird wording, lets not act like stupid decisions haven't been made.

It's a very solid game. The mechanics work very well. Controls perfectly, though missions and environments are somewhat repetitive. I finished it and haven't touched it since. I enjoyed my time with it though.

Like Minis and PSP games. If you bought them before, they're free to download on Vita. If they aren't Vita compatible, obviously they aren't free on Vita - they don't work on it. They'll be free when they do work.

Happy to join the cult of the forgotten handheld today!

Any immediate tips or recommendations? Have Katamari, Disgaea for it so far! :D

Mutant Blobs and SuperStardust! Both cheap and awesome :)

Why would they do something like this? It's not like they are giving us some sort of remastered games...
However, I imagine we need to download them directly from Vita (if they are converting them specifically for Vita, install bubbles on our PS3s shouldn't work, right?)

I was happy to hear we are FINALLY getting PSOne compatibility...now they aren't gonna be available all at once? I wonder how long until something I actually want to play comes up....

This really shouldn't be as difficult as they're making it.

I'm selling my 8GB Vita Memory card to a fellow GAF member who lives in the USA. Living in the UK, I have no idea what is a fair price to pay for a used card.

Someone give me a idea with shipping. Thanks!

Why not just selling it to a UK Gaffer?

I feel like nothing is ever easy with the Vita. The store is so cumbersome.

I think using the store on Vita is a lot better than using the store on PS3. The PS3 Store has soooo many directories and folders, many with the same games you can find inside other folders, it can get confusing.

Yeah, I was talking about the store as a whole. On my phone, I can download an app while I'm at work and have it waiting for me on my iPad at home when I get back. Seamless.

I haven't had any problems with it. They've shuffled the layout around some since launch, at least in the EU store so I imagine it'll be easy for them to highlight appropriate stuff when/if we start getting more content.

One thing thing that I wish was more concise is adding screenshots for every item on the store.

The US has no screenshots whatsoever, on both PS3 and Vita. The most disappointing part of the conference wasn't the lack of Vita support - it was no store revamp.

Cause the guy asked me in this thread when I mentioned I was upgrading to a 16GB.

Ah lol, sorry. I thought you were saying "I am going to sell to a random gaffer", not knowing yet who would you sell the card too.

My bad!

For those that missed my super early morning post...

The Vita is not Doomed (Even though Sony tried their best)

Take a look if you want to read some not-doom and not-gloom. I know there's been so very little of it. There's also some tidbits from the show floor and some other stuff (mostly all stuff i've posted here... but all in one place!)

I noticed in my dashboard that 4chan linked to it... which was really cool. They called me names and stuff, which was expected. But the best is that i'm a viral marketer for Sony. That's really awesome.

Actually, I would love to have that job. Sony?? You guys looking? Hire me.

Also wanted to say im wrapping up Resistance and it's not nearly as bad as the press has made it out to be. Nothing about it is exceptional, but nothing is borked either. I found it pretty enjoyable. I am a fan of the universe though... and im sure that helped.

I think it's clear at this point that Sony calculated that their wall to wall coverage on playstation.com would be where Vita would shine since they have been parceling out this content over the last few days. It's pretty baffling that this wasn't shown during the conference though.

Blame wonderbook

Gentlemen, check your download history.

I've been able to download several ( not all ) games from the PSP Go promotion on my Vita.

Gran Turismo, Motorstorm, LBP, Avatar, Modnation Racers.

I couldn't download them before, but now it's possible.

Excellent news for me with GT and Motorstorm !

For Vita games?

I swear I was able to see a preview for mutant blob attacks. its like most things on PSN. if its a PSN game they they try to put something up but a DD release of a game that is also available retail they do not. I.E. psp games.

This is my biggest complaint about the store for PS3 and Vita is the whole how does it look. I don't want to go to youtube to watch a video of a game when I am already in the store looking at them. I have passed on many games in the past because there was not even a screenshot.

EDIT:

Are you in the US?

Because Motorstorm and Modnation aren't available to download from my list.

In fact, two games that used to work... Ratchet + Clank and Star Wars TFU aren't there anymore either.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING SONY!?!?
