Picked these up after work today thanks to toys r us' 20% off City and Creator sets. Will build them most likely after the EURO group stage is over.

Wow, that looks awesome. Are Creator sets typically able to house minifigs?
I wish my local Toys R Us had the hillside house, I'd definitely buy it.
They were out of the Lighthouses when I went there today, unfortunately, and the sale ends tonight.
Found one of those little Star Wars sets at a grocery store today. It's one that the Lego store doesn't have.
Snowtroopers are so awesome.
I would put something , even just a flat countertop section, 1 or two bricks wide between the express machine and the cash register. That close together, it looks like it's part of the machine because of a similar style, or if you could incorporate one of those angle pieces with a computer screen on it (though I really like that look you have now).
that looks spectacular phonciple
now I am ashamed to show off my "finished" moc ;p

Thank you. I am worried about having proper materials left for a nice front of the second floor. The roof I plan on just using up all the dark blue roof tiles form Apple Tree House but with some nice window placement and making it work on the size of the building. I am making a conscious effort to put as much effort into the interior details as the outside. The interior is actually proving to be harder but more creatively stimulating.
My big fear right now is running out of 1x6 or 1x8 bricks to build the walls per floor.
I dont really have much of interior decorations so far...
well here goes

Wow, awesome MOCs, people. I hope I can be half as creative as you all.
IF Bricklink is ever fixed, I will place my 1st order. I have a plan to build onto an existing model, as I thought it looked kinda weird all by itself.
First and foremost, huge congratulations to haru for reaching 10,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO, and toward everyone for all of the support of the Star Wars Dark Bucket project!
LEGO Star Wars is very popular, and we're well aware that many people want to amass large armies of Star Wars minifigures. Our team has done our due diligence, and due to our license we will not release a collection consisting almost entirely of minifigures. Since the 10,000 supporters came for this specific concept, we will not alter the project in the review. Therefore we will not consider the Star Wars Dark Bucket further for production. We're sorry to be the bearers of this disappointing news.
The challenge with allowing IP-related projects on LEGO CUUSOO is that there is the potential of a license conflict, either with an existing license or with a competitive licensor. Still, it's our view that it is better to be open and allow for possibilities, knowing there will be "no" answers along the way, than shut out the potential of IP-based products altogether.
Since we already knew the answer in this case, we decided to share the news now rather than wait until the Fall LEGO Review under which this project would qualify. Opening ourselves to new product suggestions invites popular ideas that don't always work. We are grateful for the spirit behind projects like the Star Wars Dark Bucket and for the opportunity to be challenged. It keeps us sharp and looking toward the future of the LEGO brick.
surprise surprise, the stormtrooper bucket didn't get through on cuusoo

While I KNEW this wasn't going to get approved, I don't quite understand what their reasoning is.
What does this mean? Don't they have the Star Wars license for the LEGO models? I feel like this is a stock response.
Their license for star wars is for "building toys", minifigs only conflicts with hasbro's license for star wars action figures.
Also I'm sure they make a fuckton of money selling those little army builder sets full of storm troopers and a shitty vehicle, they wouldn't want to cut into that income source.

I actually have enjoyed their responses and do no see them as stock at all. They seem to be well-reasoned and well thought out though they aften don't allude to exactly what the issue is, that probably being due more to licensing agreements and confidentiality. In this case, I would hazard a guess that this could be seen as an action figure pack as it is just minifigs. Due to Lucas' other licensed action figures they are probably precluded from allowing other manufacturers to produce "action figures" in certain circumstances. Juts a guess though.
GF finished the Vampyre House, it has so many great little features! Recommended, and I usually don't care for playsets.
BL is back.
And tonight, I worked on nothing but interior detail on my Cafe MOC:

Uh-oh, my Lego box has been handed off from FedEx to USPS via FedEx SmartPost. Hopefully it will arrive soon.
Also, thanks for the BL update! Time to start planning my order!

Noo,must resist. My wife nearly killed me when the emerald night turned up. I will be strong.
Yup - going to start importing and placing orders! SO happy BL is back.
E: OK, what the hell:
Any idea? BL is making me mad.
Do it! It is a nice and cute little set, with some fun alternate builds. It is also a fantastic set for stocking up on pieces for a building MOC. You also get an obscene number of dark blue roof tiles/slopes in there.
I didn't think of that...That's a good point.
Like I said, wanted lists are still broken. I think you can add pieces one by one from the catalig to a list, but you can't delete any and can't make a new wanted list
You trying to upload a big list via XML? What are you using to create the list?
Hmm, maybe get it delivered to the office then sneak it into the house![]()

Why so sneaky? Your lady not wanting you to spend so much on LEGO? That's my situation...after I proposed, my fiancee said I am not allowed to get the $400 Death Star, so I purchased it immediately to set a precedent. Several more sets later, she is asking me again to stop spending so much on LEGO, so I'm holding back as much as I can haha
The Lego Star Wars board game Battle for Hoth couldn't be released in the U.S. due to licensing purposes, it's the same exact thing.

As a married women, I think your fiancee is wrong. She obviously knew about your Lego habit before you proposed- you should not have to change. as long as you two are meeting bills and saving, keep on buying!
