If I'm paying 9 mana for something, I want to be reasonably sure its going to win me the game.
Well if you're playing a proper burn/RDW deck I'd say your chances are pretty darn good...
Yeah, except if I'm playing a burn deck, I probably don't want to be putting a 9 mana card in my deck.
Not trying to be a party pooper here, but the card is pretty terrible.

Shitty Red Mythic
Gold blocks are the best for limited.
Except for Alara. Ignore that one.
A friend of mine is already working out how to break Worldfire for his Jhoira EDH deck. Electrolyze suspended one turn later seems good.
Worldfire is another in a long line of Red sorceries like Warp World, Scramblevesre and Decree of Annihilation that say "oh were you having an interesting game of Magic? Not anymore sucka! *flips table*" I hate it, I know I'm going to pull like 12 of them and anyone who plays one at a casual game I'm involved with will be getting several stink eyes if not a punch to the gut >:
And apparently Rancor is getting reprinted...
Crazy if true.
Jhoira is the perfect commander for Worldfire. Of course, you give your opponents 4 turns to find a counterspell...
Also, new red sorcery:
Wild Guess RR
As an additional cost to cast Wild Guess, discard a card.
Draw two cards.

All is forgiven WotC.
Yeah, his deck already revolves around suspending a sweep effect (like Jockouhulapocalypse) and then the turn after suspending two or three huge threats.
I tried to google this word, but this post is the only result
What is Jockouhulapocalypse?
...wat?
Sorry, my deliberately awful spelling of Jokulhaups: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=159235
Am I wrong? He looks amazing to me for 4cc. Stick that fucker in any Inn block token deck and you have a doomsday machine.
I'm lurking these days cause there's nothing to contribute :3I was wondering when you were going to check in
edit: I can only find reports of rumors for Rancor ; ;
edit: woah I missed this one. Why hello there Yeva. Let me buy you a drink you sexy thing. Playset? Playset.
Uh, was this posted yet? Because wow.

Huh. Everybody blocks my 1/1 and or death touch!

Um, am I incorrect in assuming this also means that you can choose for none of your opponent's creatures to block? "You choose which creatures block this turn, and how they block". I choose none of these creatures to block.
Whoaaaaa, missed the blue one

That definitely seems playable.
Need some for my humans, and completely makes me get rid of any plans I had to include Exalted in them.
EDIT: Nvm, realized that you still can't make one creature block many. Not as good for removal as I thought.
Yup. But I can definitely see situations in which I want to use this ability as removal instead, forcing one of their threats to block.

It's as good of removal as Fight is. Except that you have to have a substantial board to do it.
On second thought, this card isn't as amazing as I thought it would be. It seems kind of like a win-more. If you're running tokens, you likely already have 3 or 4 tokens with an anthem at that point and you're pretty much good to go by the time this guy hits the board
