From Little English Halo Blog

Microsoft's Expert Zone has released an info pack for retail employees that contains some new Halo 4 information, you can find the rest at Expert Zone or in the blog linked.

I was wondering how long they could keep this up.. 10 weeks, huh? Awesome.

That new vehicle looks crazy as fuck.

Clan support?!

And that is one crazy looking new vehicle. Hopefully the chopper is one of the returning ones. Actually, this new thing looks like it might be going for a chopper-y feel, but it's just not the same.

So, the spartan in the lego set is pretty much just an old Bionicle design. How uninspired... Oh well, Halo lego is surely better than megablocks halo.

Edit:
Pretty sure the Lego pic isn't real, what with it saying "Bionicle" on the side of he box..

Haha, I thought that set looked a little to close to Bionicle.

Also, any word on how much spartan ops is going to cost per season?

. First season's free, as the images say, but there hasn't been any word on pricing or timing of future seasons.

Lego pic is fake

Ah, that makes sense. My dreams of a chopper or chopper replacement are once again crushed!

That seems like a ridiculous amount of content. Like, more than the average player could reasonably consume (at least in the timespan while it's still releasing.)

I'm curious as to what the price will be (or lack thereof) for Season 2 onward though.

Now I don't know exactly how I'll feel about the content until we get it to play ourselves, but just based off of the sheer amount you get, $20 wouldn't be completely unreasonable, but probably a tad high. $15 I might bite at, and $10 I almost certainly would. Having to pay for this in addition to $10/$15 map packs might be overkill though unless they bundle them somehow.

I thought that we'd get something like 5 Spartan Ops missions for free with the game but 50? that's some really really great news! ^_^

You get the upcoming MP mappacks for "free" if you get the special edition of Halo 4.

It depends what a 'mission' entails. I'm imagining something of Timesplitters Arcade style; by no means a bad thing, of course!

It strikes me as a very smart way to discourage people from selling off the game immediately. If they can get a majority to hang onto it for the full ten weeks, that's going to substantially reduce the number of copies on the second-hand market - in a way I would imagine few people would find objectionable!

I think they said about 15 mins of gameplay from each mission, obviously varies with difficulty and team size

I kinda wish there was an Elite program like COD so that all dlc, MP and spartan ops was included in the price. I prefer paying once and getting everything. Right now all we know is the 100$ version will get us some of the "planned" maps, but if they release more after that, you'll have to pay again.

Up to 12 hours of content over 10 weeks doesn't seem like it would be that hard to manage.

If any of my friends read this and then experience me calling them up to rant about something awesome happening in Halo 4, please shoot me.

I just pre-ordered the limited edition from Amazon.

Was on the fence about getting this day one, but this will likely be the push I need to pick it up.

Nice to see companies offering real DLC as incentives these days. You know, as opposed to a limited time 'Hello Kitty' themed battle rifle.

Only 2 new vehicles? :( I was hoping we'd get a bunch of new Promethean vehicles.

The only way they can make this up is by including the Chopper

Going to sound like an old man but 5 per week is a little much. Or can we just sit down and play through them all over the weekend?

That really surprised me (negatively), too. What a weird thing to state.

I mean, isn't it basically that new flying thingy we saw in the montage at the end of the E3 showing (which, granted, looked kinda cool) and one other thing?

Also, how many weapons are now left to be revealed?

As for Spartan Ops: That sounds really good!

50 missions sounds great, provided they aren't repetitive. Can 343 really deliver that much content and keep it fresh? I'll be really impressed if they manage to avoid making Spartan Ops feel like a poor imitation of Firefight. I want this to be good, but I'm concerned.

10 new weapons is a nice figure—pretty close to what I expected. 2 new vehicles is just plain disappointing.

Halo does have a good suite of existing vehicles though, there's vehicles from earlier games that weren't in Reach they could bring back and have them feel fresh.
