Pretty sure the Lego pic isn't real, what with it saying "Bionicle" on the side of he box..

Also, any word on how much spartan ops is going to cost per season?
. First season's free, as the images say, but there hasn't been any word on pricing or timing of future seasons. So, the spartan in the lego set is pretty much just an old Bionicle design. How uninspired... Oh well, Halo lego is surely better than megablocks halo.
Edit:
Haha, I thought that set looked a little to close to Bionicle.

Ah, that makes sense. My dreams of a chopper or chopper replacement are once again crushed!Lego pic is fake

First season is free. No word on the next.
I'd be astounded if the second season is free. Unless it's considerably smaller than the first.
You get the upcoming MP mappacks for "free" if you get the special edition of Halo 4.That seems like a ridiculous amount of content. Like, more than the average player could reasonably consume (at least in the timespan while it's still releasing.)
I'm curious as to what the price will be (or lack thereof) for Season 2 onward though.
Now I don't know exactly how I'll feel about the content until we get it to play ourselves, but just based off of the sheer amount you get, $20 wouldn't be completely unreasonable, but probably a tad high. $15 I might bite at, and $10 I almost certainly would. Having to pay for this in addition to $10/$15 map packs might be overkill though unless they bundle them somehow.
This is the steelbook $79 one, right? You get the upcoming MP mappacks for "free" if you get the special edition of Halo 4.

Yup.This is the steelbook $79 one, right?

It depends what a 'mission' entails. I'm imagining something of Timesplitters Arcade style; by no means a bad thing, of course!
It strikes me as a very smart way to discourage people from selling off the game immediately. If they can get a majority to hang onto it for the full ten weeks, that's going to substantially reduce the number of copies on the second-hand market - in a way I would imagine few people would find objectionable!
Yup.
Thanks, I just didn't remember there's no cat helmet edition this time round.$100 but you get the first 3 map packs with it.
Give me 25 Spec Ops missions and 5 extra multiplayer maps and we've got a deal.

You've got campaign for co-op too.Go away. I'd take co-op maps over multiplayer maps any day.

Going to sound like an old man but 5 per week as a little much. Or can we just sit down and play through them all over the weekend?
Only 2 new vehicles?I was hoping we'd get a bunch of new Promethean vehicles.
The only way they can make this up is by including the Chopper
50 missions sounds great, provided they aren't repetitive. Can 343 really deliver that much content and keep it fresh? I'll be really impressed if they manage to avoid making Spartan Ops feel like a poor imitation of Firefight. I want this to be good, but I'm concerned.
10 new weapons is a nice figurepretty close to what I expected. 2 new vehicles is just plain disappointing.
