I remember Brightside, but he landed more stuff with Dormammu than he did with either Spider-Man or Wesker. To be fair, he went up against more zoning based teams at UFGT8 than Mame Spider did at Evo, and Brightside had better movement overall. But to get as far in EVO as Mame did, playing Spiderman and actually having stuff connect more often and not - well, I think people were just excited to see someone other than Evil Rahsaan put in work with Spidey.
